I have always worn three piece suits since my Dad gave me my grandad's watch and chain on my twenty first birthday ( in 1967). I mean if you have beautiful watch and chain you have to have a waistcoat to put it on don't you? So, I saw these waistcoats on Amazon and thought they looked good and ordered two (at the moment I have four suits, 2grey, a blue and a black.) Well, I have to say that I couldn't be more pleased. The quality is excellent, and the addition of the matching tie and pocket square is an extra bonus. I wore the blue and pink one with my blue suit last Friday and everyone was impressed! The consensus was that it was sensational! Lots of my friends wanted to know where I'd got it from and were amazed at the price for a waistcoat AND matching tie and pocket square. I plan on wearing the grey and silver one with my light grey suit tomorrow. I have a collection of gold and silver pocket watches and will wear a silver one with a double Albert chain with the waistcoat. I'm sure I will get the same sort of comments that I got with the blue one. I already have my eye on several of the other colours and I know that there will be several of more of these waistcoats hanging in my wardrobe before too much time has passed. To sum up, if you have a suit and no waistcoat, get one of these and instantly improve you look! Even if you have a matching waistcoat with your suit (like me) get one anyway and be a bit different. Just to say that I now have 10 of these Hisdern waistcoats in my wardrobe and I'm enjoying wearing the different colours on different occasions. All elicit admiring looks and comments from strangers as well as friends. I wore the black one with my black suit when I attended the rememberence service on November the 10 coupled with a gold watch and chain. Bought for for 15 year old autistic sons prom in size small there a true lovely fit looks absolutely stunning on hes absolutely over the moon with it and can not wait for his prom day now to go with this we have gone for some navy blue trousers and a white shirt and it looks like a real expensive suit on very impressed

A nice quality waistcoat. made in a silk like material. Coloured pattern to front and black to the rear. Buttons at the front. A rear adjustment belt is provided too. It is complemented by a matching tie and hankerfchief. Both in the same material. All items ate sealed in separate plastic bags and are neatly folded.I ordered Extra large. That's the size I would normally buy in T shirts of off the peg shirts. The waistcoat came up a little large, I suspect a Large would have been better perhaps. But with adjustment of the rear belt, it fits OK.I'm very pleased with my purchase and the as its on Prime, it arrived the day after ordering.

I was a little apprehensive purchasing this because i am really funny when it comes to buying clothes online, because of my size i can never find my size or to the annoyance of my partner get 1or2sizes bigger than i should. So i would reconmend to everyone use the size chart given by the brand in the main scrolling image and not the amazon size chart, measure your chest preferably, i came out and just under 140cm so between 3xl and 4xl played safe and went with 4xl. Also if you are like me and shy about wearing a waistcoat dont be trust me you wont regret it.

The second waistcoat I've bought from this company, specifically because it's beautifully patterned (Black with an unobtrusive Paisley design) very lightweight and looks great with a dress shirt, grandad collar shirt or dinner suit, so this item will be packed for my holiday the next time I get one! Perfect for night time sojourns when the sun goes down, but still dressy enough for restaurants who frown on shorts and tees in resort for example. The usual adjustable belt at the rear means it looks smart on without being baggy or nondescript and for the price, which is excellent by the way, a posh addition to a holiday or summer ensemble without breaking the baggage allowance and/or emphasising the smart casual look at home on a night out. A wardrobe must have in my opinion.

Ordered for my 17 year old son who's in a funk/soul band - 41 inch was a good fit (normally wears 38 to 40 inch jackets).The waistcoat & tie are really lovely and look more expensive than the £24 cost - the hankie however is very small but ok for decorative purposes in a jacket top pocket I suppose.It came very tightly packed (almost vacuum packed) and was a bit difficult to unpack.All in all though a fantastic buy - my son had many compliments from people attending a summer ball at which the band performed. Will be ordering him anot her one soon in a different colour.

The quality is excellent. I checked the size guide against waistcoats in my wardrobe and double-checked with a tape measure.Unfortunately the waistcoat was too big around the chest and according to my dressmaker wife would need a 2” tuck at the neck and about 1” under each arm to fit well. Maybe I am a weird shape, or maybe most other people are...I ordered this in a hurry with 2 days notice for Royal Ascot and I am only disappointed in the fit. Too late for a replacement. Otherwise a five star product.

The garment I received had been pre-worn and returned.This was obvious as the original tags were missing, the folding creases when originally packed were missing, different bag to others that I’ve received and the pockets have been unstitched.The garment itself was clean and odourless but I don’t think this is a standard I expect from an Amazon fulfilled item.Ordered some more, if they turn up the same, they’ll all go back.
