Q: Wouldn't it be smarter if you put a little round hole at the top so you can get a straw without taking the top off every time? Or does this have it?

This can does not have a hole in the top ,but the lifts on and off very easily. We love this. A hole on top would allow dust and other things to fall into the can and then the straws would not be sanitary to use.

Perhaps but this one doesn’t have a hole so you have to take the lid off.

Q: how do i order more straws

You just go online on Amazon or anywhere else you want to and find paper straws. They’re all the same size unless you get the extra long.
