My daughter absolutely loved growing this plant, and how much she got to make it her own. I’m amazed at how they’re able to have the words actually on the plant. So cool! These plants grow quickly and are super easy… I am terrible at growing things, and even accidentally pulled the seedling out of the dirt at one point, but I just stuck it back in and it kept growing, ha! We’ve bought this twice more to gift to friends, and they’ve loved it and bought them as gifts also. Definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded. This was such a fun kit. It’s a great gift for kids of all ages. I did this with my 4 year old but I could see myself doing this with older kids as well. Excellent quality materials. Sadly, our peppers didn’t grow. However, our basil and tomatoes grow well. It came with stickers and a blank hardcover book to decorate , write your own story or older kids can use it to take notes on the observations made while caring for the plants.

I think I’m more excited about this than my 3 year old!! This planting kit was the most amazing thing we’ve done so far. If you’re on the fence about it, I can assure you this will exceed your expectations. It comes with everything you need to paint the planter and grow these magical little stalks! I haven’t put the colored pebbles in yet but I think it looks great without it. My daughter had a blast doing this and she was excited every day to check on her little friends. She loves peppa pig so I made some little paper drawings on toothpicks to excite her even more. She named one stalk Peppa, one Alexander and one George. I don’t have a ton of light in my window so it took a little over one week to see the first signs of growth but I have a feeling if there were more direct sunlight they would have sprouted faster.Overall, really worth every penny and giftable! It’s the kind of gift I think moms and kids would actually learn something from.

Got basil and pepper packs as shown, tomato in white pack. No name brand. When I order something I want delivery to be accurate! Was going to order 3 more if I liked this one ~ won’t do that now.

I’m usually a bit skeptical about anything with “magic” in the title, but I felt this product delivered on what it said it would do. You can see the words printed on the beans when they arrive (they don’t magically appear), but after you plant them, they shed their outer brown shell and bright green beans appear with the words on them. My daughter enjoyed decorating the pot and planting the seeds, and now she is eager to water it a few times a week and see how it is growing. This is a great activity, and a wonderful way to get kids off their electronics and learn about plant growth in an artistic and whimsical way. I recommend it and have already bought another one as a birthday gift for my daughter’s friend.

I bought 5 of these for my grandkids. None of the beans grew. Very disappointed! Waste of money!

Ok so I was actually pretty impressed as well as th rest of my family on how fast this plant grew. It sprouted after a few days.i only did 2 seeds at first so me and my daughter can use the last seed for another planting. But I am not kidding this thing really nice magic. My plant based review is this is an amazing gift for toddlers to learn about plants and my daughter was super excited. The picture where the plant is smaller was at 3pm and then at 7pm that same day the plant turned into the bigger picture it was insane I was so shocked. Definitely would buy again and my mom actually was so excited she bought one.

I ordered three kits for my three grandchildren. Two of the three were great. One did not sprout at all. The kids were excited and insisted on planting all three of their seeds. For some reason not one of the seeds in my grandson's sprouted. The pots were on the same windowsill and so it wasn't the location or the watering because they were all taken care of the same. So my plan is to try and find the right seeds that will quickly sprout for him because he feels so bad that his didn't work. My 7 year old granddaughter's plant did so well. We love watching it. When I turn the plant around, in just a couple of hours it will turn itself around to face the sun. Also, it closes up at night, which fascinates us. My other granddaughter who is three, loves hers as well and it's doing really well. Would I buy this again? Yes! The kids had a good time painting it and planting the seeds. I just wish all three had sprouted.
