These reins are flexible and will be nice to use. I actually prefer them a bit smaller diameter, but they are as advertised. I just couldn't find smaller ones and decided to try these.

Received and used the reins today! Live the feel in hand, love the length and the round braid! Love the keeper even though they're split, best of both worlds!! Will be using for years to come!! Thank you for a great product ❤️

I was thinking that they might be too thin but apparently, the 3/8" dimension is the width of each strip and 3 (I think) are braided together. So, the reins actually seem thick. Makes it easier to hold with arthritic hands!

Nice and soft, not too firm, so its easy to ride without him feeling a tapping on his side

I really like my new reins although they aren’t purple they are dark brown.
