I bought this cover to protect my sofa because we have a dog who runs outside and when the ground is wet his feet are very dirty when he comes in. We allow him to sit on the sofa so I wanted to protect my very expensive Ethan Allen couch. I bought one of these covers for the couch and for a power lift recliner chair that I have. The cover for the chair stays in place with no problems at all. There are straps that go around the chair to hold it in place. The sofa has a different kind of smaller strap and the back of the sofa just doesn't stay in place. I have given it four stars because the directions are not at all helpful and I am still hoping I will find a way to make the back stay in place. Other than these complaints it is at least protecting my sofa from the dog and his dirty paws

It is sturdy and the color as described, but I wish it would let you connect the straps on either side. It fits fine in the side that does not have the straps, but if I want to secure it on the back it is a bit small for my couch. Please make it so that we can strap it on any side!

These soften up considerably after washing. Be sure to dry on low so as not to melt the back. Worth it if you have pets.

The underneath non-slip surface works well and the material is soft and comfortable. On con is that after washing, there a lot of tiny particles from the the non-slip rubber. My biggest fear is that the non-slip material might dry up like some my carpet mats. Time will tell.

These things do protect your furniture but they are very difficult to keep in place. If you tuck it deep enough on the sides of the seat to keep it in place, the sides are too short to cover the arms, while the back elastic is way too long (I shortened it with safety pins). The fabric also makes the seat very hot.

This is definitely not a high end cover, however it does the job I need it to do, protect the futon from pet stains. The straps to hold it on are located too close together and therefore don't work very well. If you're looking for a high end, attractive cover, this is probably not what you're looking for.

The absorption and cleaning options with this are good but the size is so big that it creates wrinkles and they are hard to sit on. You have to continually keep smoothing out the seat every time you get up and down in chair. Hoping after a wash this wrinkle problem will ease but that possibility does not seem very likely.
