Proyama 54cc 20-inch Gas Powered Chainsaw with Two Chains and Carrying Case

This came in a lot of pieces. Once put together oiled and gassed it took a few pulls to start it. Then we were off and running. Living on the river we have quite a few Large and small branches as well as full tree trunks that wash up so we needed a saw that would take care of all of it. My husband cut through 2 large tree trunks and all was well. Then he set the saw down and turned it off. Within 10 minutes he was ready to cut some more but the saw would not start until he had least 15 pulls on the cord. We weren't ready to count it out yet so he sawed up a few more trees once he got it started then the same thing happened again after turning it off. He said that at this pace the cord would eventually come out altogether so we sent it back. So in summary, It works fine until it gets hot.

BOUGHT THIS SAW TO REPLACE A 20INCH POULAN PRO. HAD A FEW SPARE CHAINS AND BARS FOR THE PRO. NEEDED A SAW THAT USED SAME CHAINS. AFTER A LOT OF LOOKING ON LINE, ENDED UP WITH THE PROYAMA 54CC SAW. SAW IS LITE WEIGHT WITH PLENTY OF POWER. REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS SAW. I'VE USED A LOT OF SAWS AND FOR THE MONEY THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST.

Doesnt have the power I thought a 3 hp saw should .But what do you expect for the price.

Second day of using this saw in my yard..Cut down around 15 big blackjack oaks so far..With the same chain! WORKS PERFECT SLICES THROUGH LIKE BUTTER! For the price you cannot beat it. Will update if anything changes..

I bought this saw on the 23rd of March for a small backyard job. After 3 or for 4 starts it won't start up any more. Very hard time trying to start after having it and using it for 2 days straight. It's not a reliable saw for that reason. If it can crank , then you can't get the job done.

I put this together per instructions and filled it with proper fuel mix and chain oil. After numerous attempts at starting it, I asked for advice from the Amazon community and discovered the on/off sticker was wrong on at least 1. Trying it that way still didn't work. A waist of money!

Extremely hard to start and stalls out under load then hard to restart.. adjust idle per instructions with no help.spend more effort trying to get the thing to run than taking care of the job at hand..
