Doesn't seem to slide easily to tighten
I bought these for 2 purposes. 6 for camping tarp (with included line) and 4 for pop up canopy. I have the canopy legs staked down and guylines out from the top. It's semi permanently in the yard for the summer. It came with heavy line (5/16" at least) to use as guylines. I already replaced the simple "J" spikes with screw type pegs so I thought th these were would be good tensioners since they work with thicker line. I had to go back to my rolling hitches though because while the line fits it won't slide so it can't be tensioned properly, at all really. A guyline tensioner needs to slide easily in one direction (to tighten it) but not slide in the opposite direction (so it stays tight).I will try it with the line which came with it for the tarp. I will try it in ways or wasn't designed for too see if it works threaded like more conventional tensioners do. If they won't slide and hold then these may be useless. Guylines stretch so they need to be tensioned almost daily. If tensioning hardware doesn't make that easier than a rolling hitch then it doesn't serve much purpose in my mind.On the plus side, if it will slide its going to be fantastic because it doesn't require threading the line through holes. If different length line needs to be used in different situations it's going to be a lot easier to swap out the different length lines.Update: I found out by experimentation that this is actually pretty versatile, especially if you either don't like to tie knots or if you want to be easily able to tie off a line (like with a knot) but want to be able to easily adjust the length of it. If you use it as in any of the first 3 photos it acts like a knot. As long as there isn't tension on it you can easily adjust it. It doesn't seem to slide in either direction this way. As soon as it is under tension you will not be able to slide it. It needs enough slack to pull the line over the arm move the adjuster down further up or down the line and put it back over the arm as shown. It would be useful for hanging something by a line from a tree branch or quickly fastening a line between 2 trees as long as it doesn't need to be taut, just fastened, it should work great. It can also be used as a tensioner if threaded either of the way shown in the last 2 photos. Use this way you can release a little bit of tension, by pulling a guyline toward the adjuster (giving it a little bit of slack) and slide it further up the line by the large ring portion to adjust tension on the guyline. When tight it doesn't readily slip but can easily be moved in either direction with the large ring part of the adjuster. The line I used in the photos is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GX5VQJ7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Great for guylines for tents and tarps. 4 Strand mini Paracord 275 lbs tensile strength. Great to have camping for emergencies. Use to lash knife to sapling for spear, lash branches together for shelter, travois, unravel for fishing line, make snares, etc.

Hard to adjust. I like the para cord came with it
Overall both paracord and adjusters are well built. I especially liked the paracord. The adjuster is not easy to use. As other viewers are mentioning, it does not slide smooth when I tried to make the paracord tight on my hexagonal tarp. The traditional adjusters probably works better for this application.

Good quality
Good strong tent rope. It is nice and thin, but still strong! Very happy with the quality and the tension pieces. We have a tent that we love for easy backyard camping and summer fun, but the old stuff was just showing too much wear. This is far better than replacing a tent when all you need is this. Good deal.

Great kit
This is a very nice package. The guyline is standard which is nice; not that cheap stuff and the alien loops have a real nice feel to them; light but enough weight that you feel they are strong.

The reflective feature is nice
The rope is very reflective which is nice to have so you don't trip over it in the dark while camping. The adjusters are nice to have too. I am throwing this is in my camping box as I know it will come in handy. The rope is not too thick and not too skinny, and has good strength to it.

Good for camping
I suck at tying knots so I thought this would be useful around the campsite. Yes, they do help. However, I wish the package comes with instructions on how to use because I was struggling a little bit at first. After I learned how to use, it was easy and convenient

High visibility line
High visibility night or day means less tripping over guy lines. Wanted more of the line adjusters, nice to have them packaged together.
