Easy Install
I didn't realize that I had to put holes in my new truck to put this in. I was hoping for a clip system instead, but decided to give it a shot. The net was too wide to fit where the instructions say to install it, which is right ahead of the tail gate and I also did not want the hooks that the straps feed through to catch anything while loading up the bed. So I installed it just forward of the tail light housing. I fed a 3/32 bit all the way into the chuck as I just needed to get through one wall and surely did not want to go through the outside and wanted to make sure I missed any wires. Once through on all six holes. I used an 8MM socket nut driver to put the clips in. Very easy. And as you can see, it looks good. I hope this helps.

Meh
The net isn't very thick but it isn't designed to hold anything, hopefully the wind doesn't tear it apart. Do yourself a favor and toss the included "self tapping" screws, I'm not sure that the included screws would even work in wood. They are 3/16" screws and even drilling an 1/8" pilot hole doesn't help. Look at the picture, the screws didn't break they just dissolve. Seriously, they just burn up. I had real self tapping screws on hand and they did the trick. Side note: drilling pilot holes for self tapping screws makes the job go more smoothly and quickly, an extra step but worth it.I will update my review in a few months if this net tears apart. Good price, I just hope it lasts longer than the included screws.

Wouldn’t recommend it. Not for me....
Bought this to go on my 15 GMC 2500 Duramax after the tailgate got smashed. Wanted to save a few bucks are try this out and not do the ProNet as I’ve never really done the tailgate net look and wasn’t sure how I’d like it.To be honest I wouldn’t waste your time with this product. Construction of the net itself was decent but the hardware like many others have mentioned is absolute trash! I’m a tradesman and the crap metal screws they give you in this kit are atrocious. Literally DO NOT waste your time with the stock hardware, go to your local hardware store and purchase quality self tapping metal screws if you really want to use this net. I learned the hard way snapping the first screw halfway sunk into my bed.Aside from the hardware, the reality is the functionality of this net is pretty dismal. If you plan on needing to remove it or unstrap it frequently, it is a much more lengthy process than you imagine. Unless you purchase the additional quick release clips, the actual net is slip tied / secured to the bed so it take a couple minutes each time you want to remove or lower it to un-do the straps.I tow with my 3rd wheel goose neck multiple times a week and need quick access to the bed hitch. This net takes way too long to deconstruct for me to use it conveniently. Was worth a shot but don’t thing truck nets are for me...Negatives- terrible hardware- Not convenience for frequent removal- barely fit taut on my large 2500 gmc (all 6 straps where pulled as tight as possible maxed out, still sagged slightly)

WORTH THE MONEY
This is great! For the money, it's a great temporary replacement! My boyfriend's rebuilding an 85 Squarebody and always carrys his tools with him & loves a good burnout. His tools stay in his bed, but doesn't have a tailgate - see my problem?I decided to go with my gut on this and spend half the money on this cheaper one rather then the 50$ one a saw that was identical but a different brand label. I'm glad I did. This took 4 minutes to install, and with just a tad bit adjusting to make it evenly centered - Viola! It goes from end to end, no gaps on the sides or along the bottom! Will definitely be getting one myself once my rebuilds on the road! The plastic material isn't cheap and withers either, it's durable, thick and still light weight!BUY IT!!!

Poor quality, doesn’t last past 2 months
Within 6weeks of using, the top passenger side of the net broke off where it connected to the truck.I don’t carry or have anything that would put extra pressure on the net to cause it to break. I rachet every thing down so it doesn’t slide aroundVery disappointed especially as it lasted just about 3 days past my return window; money out the window. Can’t sell something broke and can’t return it.
