light scent, easily absorbed, not just for babies
I am completely in love with this stuff. I bought this as a moisturizer for myself, not my "baby" as indicated on the label. It has a light scent, but nothing I would associate with a baby. This rubs in quickly and does not leave my skin oily for more than a few minutes. I find that an oil keeps my skin moisturized much longer than a typical lotion. This is a huge bottle. I can see this lasting my 6 months or longer with daily use. I wax my legs and therefore they get very dry, even to the point of scabbing in some places. Since using this oil, in addition to L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil, 8.4 fl. oz. my legs have not been dry or scaly. This could even be used as a shaving oil. This product pours out of the top quickly, so I pour a small amount into a spray bottle 2 Empty Blue Glass Spray Misters - 4oz Refillable Bottle is Great for Essential Oils, Organic Beauty Products, Homemade Cleaners and Aromatherapy with a White Fine Mist Dispenser - 2 Pack of 4oz Bottles and use it that way. This makes for fewer spills.

Perfume for newborns?
The unnatural strong scent is atrocious. Why would I want to put a fake perfume scent on my precious new baby's skin? I am so surprised by Cetaphil - we use many of their products and most all are unscented and work wonders. Now I am going through the list of ingredients to see what they are really putting in the other products. It is appalling that a company would put PERFUME on a baby - talk about allergies, chemical, argh the list goes on.If you want to scent - scent with organic essential oils - everyone knows this.Deplorable product

Will send you the LOTION instead of the oil.
I love this baby oil. It is the best oil I have ever used on my skin after a shower ( I am in my 50's) . Absorbs well, no scent on your skin and I am so soft all day and night. The last two times I ordered this oil and I made sure that I chose the oil, I was sent lotion instead from Amazon and Wal-Mart. Last year I paid around $8.00 a bottle, now the price has sky rocketed. I will not be purchasing again until the price comes down. Also, the lotion they sent did not work well for me and I do not like the scent ( and I have 3 bottles of it). If anybody knows why this company starting offloading their lotion on us and jacked up the price of the oil, I sure would appreciate knowing.

Best baby oil - SO moisturizing and smells INCREDIBLE!
When my LO was born, I started using the big organic brand lotions for her nightly massages to keep her skin soft and supple. One day i was away from home, and had a small trial of this cetaphil oil that i decided to use.It went on SO beautifully, smelled AMAZING and soaked perfectly into my baby's skin. The next day her skin felt softer than it had in the weeks prior using the other lotions. I was hooked. She's now 9 months old, and we use this oil every single night before bed. One bottle goes a long way (we're just getting to the end of it), and we've got a new one ready.I buy this for all my new mama friends now.

Not the best option for very dry skin but love the scent!
I've been using Aveeno for my baby boy who has very dry skin but it wasn't sufficient for his skin so I decided to try this oil (instead of cream). We've been using this 3+ times a day for about 2 weeks but didn't see much improvement. I'd repurchase it for myself though since I love the scent but I have switched to Aquaphor healing ointment for his dry skin and it seems to be working fine :) I would recommend it for babies with normal skin and for those who love the sunflower scent but if you're looking for something to treat very dry skin, I recommend you try Aquaphor.Pros:-scent!!!-suitable for normal skinCons:-this isn't to treat very dry skin-packaging; leaks after use

This is not baby oil, which is the price listed, it is a $5.00 bottle of lotion
Received two $5.00 bottles of lotion instead of the oil as pictured. The oil is amazing and worth every penny, but the lotion is only worth the $5

I do not have any children, I use this for myself as an adult and love it.
I have sensitive skin and find myself irritated with many products, but I love this and have repurchased it many times. I love that it is paraben free, colorant Free, mineral oil free and hypoallergenic. I do find the fragrance pleasant but it can be a bit too strong for myself, so the way I use this product is in the shower. I squirt the thin oil across my body and massage it in, similar to a in-shower moisturizer. I used to do this previously with almond oil, which can be found in many of your in-shower moisturizers, but this has proven to be more cost-effective for myself. Because I use this oil when my skin is still damp, I never find this product to be over perfumed or greasy. I do recommend that this product be used when the skin is still damp, for anyone, whether it be an adult or baby as oils can be tough to distribute if the skin is not damp.

Helps improving dry skin.
I use this daily at night on my baby.has been using it for the last 10 months. My baby had a little dry skin. After I started with cetaphil baby range of products I have started seeing a significant change, the skin has become softer and smoother and the dryness vanished. It's wonderful.
