Dash Salt-Free Seasoning Blend, Onion & Herb, 2.5 Ounce

I can’t find this flavor in the stores locally. It’s the best no salt alternative to any other brands that advertise the same. It’s a great blend for spicy dishes and taco seasoning. The price is right for the perfect size. Yummy.

I’ve been trying to cut back on sodium, and this Dash Original blend has been a lifesaver in my kitchen. I’ve used it on everything from baked chicken to roasted potatoes, even sprinkled it on popcorn once, and it always adds flavor without me missing the salt. It is very versatile. The mix of herbs and spices feels balanced — nothing too overpowering, just a good all-around seasoning. The 2.5 oz size is convenient for the price, and since a little goes a long way, one bottle lasts longer than I expected. I’ve been using it several nights a week and still have plenty left. For under $3, the quality is surprisingly good, and it doesn’t taste artificial the way some cheap seasonings do. If you’re used to really salty food, it might take a little adjustment, but once you get used to it, this blend makes low-sodium cooking so much easier. Definitely a staple in my pantry now.

Definite onion flavor, rich & tasty. I prefer it over the garlic herb blend, which doesn’t seem garlic-rich. Ingredients seem fresh. Great for cooking & table-side seasoning.

This makes an adequate batch of tacos. The container seems to have about enough for 3 batches of tacos (1lb ground beef per batch) when made according to the directions. The flavor was decent. Not excellent, not terrible. I followed the directions on the package to get a baseline. Next time, I will add extra chili powder and cayenne because I didn't feel like there was quite enough oomph, but the taco flavor was certainly there. On the other hand, there was no sodium, which is a hard find. This will fill that gaping void in your hear (and stomach) when you want tacos but can't handle the salt. If you've been there, you know what I mean. (Completely unrelated - I have found that CORN tortillas have almost no sodium, as opposed to FLOUR tortillas which are full of sodium. Corn is not as easy to work with, but is adequate.) I will be buying more, hopefully in a bulk package.

Tastes just like taco seasoning with no salt. I don't even miss the sodium either because it is so flavorable.

Got this for my mom who has ckd. We are all now in a low sodium diet. I love the spices and it does not have MSG! We will be buying more! They have different flavors as well!

Both my husband and I are on low sodium diets. Most spices have salt. With the Dash we don't have to sacrifice taste! That is important. My husband likes these seasonings and he's glad we got these. We have 3 different flavors, all good!
