The stones are nice but the hole is small and will not allow or not at all, a 1mm stretch cord. A few will but you can’t use all of them. Trying to make the hole bigger can crack the stone. You can bevel cut the end of the cord or try stretching, it’s not always successful but certainly frustrating. You would use .5 to .75 mm stretch string or use 8 mm stones.I make jewelry, the smaller mm stretch strings break easier and stretch out faster in bracelets due to some wearers be rough with on and off. If you use 6mm stones and 1 mm cord, be aware you may not be able to use the prettiest stones unless you change the string size, use wire or beading floss/thread.

Unfortunately there wasn’t too much of the sought after blue shimmer as they look more white than the beautiful moonstone look

I hesitated to buy from GEM-Inside as these beads are shipped from China. I'm glad that I did. The quality of all the beads far exceeded my expectations, and I will buy from them again.I purchased 8mm and 10mm sizes and make bracelets using 1mm Stretch Magic cord. ALL the beads easily threaded with no large gaps. The knots were relatively easy to embed into one of the holes. Every one of the strands exceeded 15", often over 16". Sixteen inches is the standard length I usually get at Gem Shows.Often at Gem Shows the cheaper beads are not fully polished. They are left in a matte finish and then coated with something to give them a shiny luster. The beads from GEM-Inside were all completely, perfectly polished to the natural luster of the stones. Out of all the strands I ordered, only one bead was not usable. I was definitely impressed with their quality.The items arrived via US mail (USPS) after making it here via China Post. Tracking was difficult, and unnecessary. When purchased, I was given a date range for the ETA. The items arrived before the first date of that range.Quality and other comments:OBSIDIAN - Beautiful, clearer rather than cloudy, evenly toned, all but three beads completely matchedTURQUOISE - Perfectly colored, a few dendritic beads, mostly solid. I bought the bluer ones.NATURAL OPALS - Color varied from green to brown, mostly medium green, many dendritic beads, some calico. No white; no opalescence; no problem. These are incredibly beautiful and will definitely purchase more.SODALITE - Ranged from bluish to grayish. Stones tended to be either grays and whites or blues and whites. About equal amounts of blues and grays. Very nicely patterned.AMETHYST - Much better than expected, dark and fairly even in color, they do not seem dyed, just natural amethyst. The color is more like the stones I have seen from Uruguay rather than Brazil. Will be purchased again. Amethyst is regularly requested in the type of products I create.LAPIS LAZULI - So much better than expected! Only two beads had traces of white, and those were very interestingly patterned. Nicely dark, rich blue and all had those telltale golden flecks of pyrite. A real find.CITRINE - Perfectly clear, flawless, gorgeous colorAll in all I had an absolutely wonderful experience purchasing, creating, and gifting these beads.
