Does exactly what it says it does!
Super pleased with this product. I wanted an alternative to actual dry ice and after reading the reviews I went ahead and purchased the large packs. I followed instructions of getting insulations to insert into my cooler and instructions upon receiving the dry ice packs. Simple. Easy. Reusable after one use. Literally lit them back into the freezer after one use. I wanted to bring frozen ice pops for horses to a horse show in 100 degrees and humidity weather to cool the horses off after riding. This product works 100% if you park in a shaded areas and crack your windows. The frozen popsicles stayed 100% frozen for 5 hours before we gave them to the horses. The next day I kept my car in the sun with windows up on another 100 degree day. After 8 hours they dido thaw ever so slightly. Still super pleased with the fit, size, and coldness of these packs. They work! Now to see if the versatility of these dry ice packs will keep over night this weekend for frozen treats the next day.

A game changer for me.
Amazing!!!!! I was looking for a way to travel from NYC (JFK) to Guyana, South America with frozen shrimp, frozen salmon and 10 pounds of frozen ground meat. I didn’t do anything extra just submerged two of the sheets in water & put them in the freezer at about 7pm. I took it out of the freezer at 1:45am. Then, I just through them in a small duffel bag with all the fish and meat (I don’t know if that was the best way to handle this item). I checked in the duffle bag for my 5am (eastern time) flight. Arrived in Guyana at 10:40am. Everything was still frozen. Took a taxi to Berbice. Got in at 3pm. Everything was still frozen. I am ecstatic. I only wish I knew this thing would work so well because I would’ve brought the whole America home to Guyana.

Pros and cons, wouldn’t use for mailing again without extra leakage protection.
I was looking for a more cost effective way to ship with ice packs and came across these. They arrived in good condition.Pros:- Easy to use soak and freeze- Adjustable sizes (can cut to fit as needed)- Great packaging- Could be good for lunches if you cut and separate after freezing without tearing to prevent leaking (I would isolate from food in a zip lock)Cons (or user error, still on the fence so just learn from my mistake) :- Damaged my mailer box a Usps boxes / leaked through and products were not cold after 1- 3 day shipments.(Maybe try using insulated bubble padding to prevent this if you do want to use for mailing)- I didn’t cut before freezing, so when I went to place them in packages / boxes and resize them, they would tear on the paper/ fabric side, exposing the frozen content and were no longer usable for that purpose.- Not as long lasting as previous choices. I even shipped next day locally and the box was wet and warm upon arrival. The packs weren’t damaged or ripped so I’m not sure if it was the condensation or more so a leak since you do have to soak them to solidify them in the first place. All in all, it definitely depends on the purpose of use. I don’t dislike them, entirely since they can be used for lunches, but definitely not for my business or shipping in heat.

I LOVE these for post surgical use!
I realize these are not marketed for medical use. That said there have been two times I needed very long lasting ice packs post surgically and these were amazing.1. I had carpal tunnel surgery and had to drive for eight hours four days after surgery. I could not have done it with out these ice packs. They are frozen/cold for about 8 hours in a temperate environment. I did not have to leave it on my hand for an extended amount of time but it was available to me when I needed it for the whole 8 hour drive. The self activated ice packs you can buy are not great, they are never cold enough nor do they last more then 20 minutes. Plus a lot of them are faulty and don't activate when twisted.2. I recently had bilateral knee replacements, these have been amazing I went to a Penatonix concert 6 weeks post op and would not have been able to do so with out these ice packs. You can cut them to size if they are too big. I used a knee brace/wrap made to hold ice packs that I could slide this one into instead and then could velcro to my knees. I also use them on my knees at home. They are the right temperature and last again around 8 hours. They do not take up huge amounts of freezer space because you have to have so many to be able to switch them out.If you are going to have surgery and will need to be icing BUY THESE you will thank me later.ONLY CON: (But with a solution.)I put them in a zip lock bag after hydrating them and then freezing because after a while with extended use they can break and gel beads can come out with extended use. The ziplock bag just makes it so they don't make a mess you have to clean up while in recovery.

DOESN'T STAY DRY
Bought this because advertised to be leak-proof. "there's no need to worry about everything getting wet! By keeping ice from melting, our ice packs keep your cooler nice and dry. They are non-slimy, non-toxic, food-safe, and environmentally friendly."Well I followed directions and was excited to use but after attempting 2-3 times, very disappointed!!! They do leak, are slimy feeling, and get my food items wet along with the packaging. We sell bakery goods and use coolers during the summer months, and this is important to keep things dry and from the label ruining because of water from ice/ice packs. We will be look for something else. The return widow is closed and why is is to difficult to get a direct number/contact email for customer service??

So Incredibly Convenient!!
Needed to keep homemade dog food frozen for a cross country road trip. These packs are flat until you hydrate them, so it was very easy to bring extras without taking up space. The fill it size quickly and freeze well. They also re-freeze well if they thaw. I especially love that you can separate them to customize the size. Would buy again.
