Marycrafts Women's Formal Office Business Work Jacket Skirt Suit Set

I love the vintage cut of this suit - tres chic! I was thoroughly impressed by this brand and have since ordered several items. The material is stretchy and breathable, yet classy in appearance. Definitely order a size up - I ordered a size 10 and it fit snug whereas I usually would order a size 8. My body measurements are 36", 29", 37" and 5'10" in height. My only gripe is that the arms are too small for the taller woman with long arms... My arm length is 23." Nevertheless, I plan to order 2 more suits in different colors because the cut is so fashionable and you can't beat the price!

I am so impressed with this suit. I love the quality of the material and how thick it is. I don't believe it is dry clean only which means I can wash i t and wear it. One thing that I will say is the jacket is a bit more snug than the suit. It looks classic and feminine and I'm sure to have it for years to come.

I was very pleased with this suit.I’m glad I ordered a size 6, and returned the size 4, after reading some of the comments and researching the pictures myself. This suit fit me like a glove, the skirt material is a little shear NOT see threw but I made sure to wear a black slip underneath. The material is also soft and so comfortable and thick in the jacket. I am 5’0” and was about 138lbs in the picture:) I still gave a 5/5 rating because I really liked this suit and it was perfect for my initiation. I did get the skirt hemmed due to it was a little long for my taste and height. But over all it is a great buyand totally recommend others to buy, hope this helps:)

The material is nice and very comfortable and rich in color. However, the suit was made as if the top was made for a different size than the skirt. The skirt fits loose and drapes perfectly across my hips. However, the top is tight in the chest and cannot even button. So, even if you are large chested with hourglass figure, you will love the skirt but not even have use for the top. I would have to be flat chested for the top to hang appropriately. Sleeves are long so I am not sure what body shape was used to create this outfit. I even had ordered the size larger than my regular size because of others' comments. It is sad because the material is nice, the style is flattering, but the size does not compliment the overall body figure. I kept the suit for the skirt because I can put it with other tops that are same material.

Argh. I really want a Marycraft dress to work out for me. For reference, I am 5'1", 115 pounds and I ordered a size 2 in burgundy.The material of this dress is pretty good -- it's heavy, dense synthetic knit, very solid and with a smooth, matte texture. It was a little flatter in color than I expected -- the gray I ordered before had a nice thread variety that gave dimension -- but it stretches just enough to make it structured yet responsive. I will say this -- this is a very "warm" dress -- do not attempt in warm weather!Everything is beautifully sewn. The darts that shape the jacket are especially stunning -- the give a gorgeous, 3-D effect that makes this outfit look sharp and stylish. I love the asymmetrical button front.Unfortunately, the fit is really amiss. The bodice fits much, much too snugly, especially across the chest -- and I have a very small bust and small rib cage. The shoulders are far too wide, making this bulky and unflattering. The waist is OK, but I have a naturally very small waist. The sleeve length is a little long, but easily hemmed -- and actually that would improve the look of this jacket, since the sleeve ends are just very cheaply machine finished, unlike the rest of the garment craftsmanship. The waist on this actually seems to be too high (!!!) which I found ironic, given the extremely long torso length of the other Marycraft dresses I have tried. The jacket is lined everywhere except the sleeves. Oh, and the sleeves are pretty tight.The buttons are large, sturdy, and well-made, but do not seem to be sewn on securely enough for the weight and pull of the material. Another Marycraft jacket I had lost a button while I was trying it on. I felt like these were close to coming off in my hand. Otherwise, beautifully made, just strangely proportioned.P.S. Can I please add this: I received a slip of paper with the dress asking me to contact the manufacturer directly if there were any problems and that a 1,2, or 3 star review meant the customer was dissatisfied, that they lived for reviews, and that they would do ANYTHING to make the customer satisfied. OK, I get it. And that's fabulous customer service. But if that's keeping people from writing honest reviews -- because they're being pacified by the manufacturer -- then you're really creating a bigger problem where people don't have an accurate perception of your product and so they keep ordering, having problems, sending things back, etc. It would be better if we knew what the product was really like.

I have other MaryCraft dresses that I like a lot, so I ordered this skirt suit in size 10 like the other dresses I purchased. I normally wear a size 8 or 10. I am 5’5”, weight 160, a D-Cup bustline and I have an hourglass shape (thin waist with larger bust and hips). The skirt fit perfect. Not too tight so it would’ve been perfect for work. The top was way too small - I couldn’t even button it! If the skirt fits perfect in the waist, the jacket needs to fit the same waist plus be a little bigger because it fits over the skirt. It makes no sense it was designed this way. Buying another size wouldn’t fix it (since it’s a 2-piece set) so it had to be returned. Kind of a bummer, the material is a thick ponte-type knit that seems fairly high quality and wrinkle resistant - great for travel. If you have a pear shape body or straight up-and-down body type, maybe this will work for you, but size up one size.

I requested a refund because it was really poor quality I returned the package following the directions and was supposed to receive a refund of $ 20 for freight plus the $ 70 for litem in all I received $ 6.95. Reimbursement!! this is definitely not satisfactory.

Too small to even wear.

I ordered a size up and it was still way too small. Come to find out, I have to pay for shipping to return it. Very disappointed
