I bought this for my 8yo grandson, who's really into gorgons and Greek mythology. I was worried that it would be too big and would slip, but there's a Velcro strap inside to adjust the size and it stays in place really well. Nice quality. The snakes stand out well. Very happy with this purchase!

Found this hat in a retail store priced at $29.99. Appearance is quite striking. Almost splurged because 6 yr old granddaughter loves Medusa. But checked Amazon and found it for $ 19.99 and free shipping. Ordered it while standing in the retail store and it's on its way now. Well made. The wire inside the snakes make it easy to place the snakes as you wish. And the inside adjustable tab make for a very secure and comfortable fit. We are a family of weird hat lovers. I predict the quality will ensure that it is enjoyed for a long while. Will revise review if this isn't the case.

I was medusa for Halloween. This was the best choice for a snake wig for the least amount of money. It matched my dress perfectly! Everyone loved it!

We did a play about the Greek myths, so this was great on stage. It read well from the audience, and the snakes are posable, which is a nice plus. It is loose for what we needed, so I sewed an elastic band to fit under the actress' chin so it would stay on during the scene.

My daughter dropped a bomb on us by saying, "I want to be Medusa for Halloween." She's kind of an oddball so it didn't surprise me .... just made for a challenge, costume-wise. I considered doing a DIY thing with rubber snakes tied to a headband ... but I feared that to be too heavy for her 9-yr old self. This wig solved all my problems! It's lightweight, the snakes are infinitely bendable, and the fit is adjustable. Even with all her crazy antics and the rainy night, the headpiece stayed put.

LOVED the 'GarGon' Meudsa wig/hat. Plan to wear it to Comi-Con and make a big ole' splash with my friends! The item is well-made, with liner and snakes do not fall off as with other models. I would totally recommend this to anyone desiring a 'different' look.

I wore this hat as part of a Deuce Gorgon (Medusa's son on Monster High) for my niece's party, and it was a hit! The snakes are bendable, and I was able to wrap them into dreads and have them look like Deuce's snakehawk. Elope's one-size fits all adjustment band is a welcome feature that should be in all hats. a great, tough product!
