This is a high quality box that represents a tremendous value for the price. After receiving this box and having a chance to look it over, I wouldn't even consider any cheaper or lower quality choices. Look, I don't collect high end time pieces, but the watches I do have are nice considering the price, so I want to protect them and display them at the same time. This box does both things in a big way.First, shipping. The box actually arrived ahead of schedule, despite the fact that it was a few days before Christmas. Packaging was exceptional. The box was shipped in a cardboard box surrounded by Styrofoam panels with a sheet of bubble wrap taped over the glass on the cover for added protection. Needless to say, it arrived damage-free.The watch box itself is very well constructrd and very functional for a variety of watch styles and sizes. The wood has a smooth finish, the glass is thick enough to be fairly break resistant and the fit and finish of the interior material is excellent. The individual watch pillows are soft enough to allow bands to fit over them easily. The width of the individual compartments is enough to accommodate my largest diameter watch easily. (42mm)Overall, I'm extremely impressed with this watch box. If I dont look for a larger box as my collection grows, I'm without a doubt buying another one of these! There's no better testament to quality than a repeat customer.

The media could not be loaded.  Three stars were for the seemingly impressive quality, fast shipping & ease of putting together. Knocked two stars off because the glass arrived damaged (not ruined though) but still very usuable. This is “Made in China” but still overall a decent buy. We had a handful of watches that just did not fit properly in the large jewelry box so wanted something I could place them in themselves. The key does work & lock the box with is another pro, comes with two keys.UPDATE: So hasn’t even been a year & this product is malfunctioning. The key doesn’t work properly anymore basically making it to wear I’d have to break the top to easily get to my collection unless I have time to tediously attempt to rig it unlocked. Unfortunate considering I use this lightly & maybe only went into it maybe once a week to every other week.

I got this for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, and he absolutely loves it! He says it is the best gift I've ever gotten him. The wood feels so lovely and the window on the lid is such a nice touch, it feels super classy getting to look down at all those gorgeous watches! Also the wrapping things that you can put the watches around is lovely, but it is a little problematic with some metal banded watches that you can't adjust the sizing for. My boyfriend's wrists are narrower than the things to wrap the watches around and so his one metal watch doesn't quite fit well. It's not super noticeable though so no big deal! But if more of your watches don't have an adjustable strap it might be an important consideration. Also the key is a super classy touch. We never use it, but it's nice to have! He leaves it in the lock and it's kind of a nice design feature.

I have been waiting over a year to get a watch box, and have been comparing them all over Amazon and elsewhere. This is a very nice box. It has a good appearance, and looks attractive with the key in it (they provide a key without a tassel and a key with a tassel - nice touch). The lining is lighter than the picture, and is more of a creamy sand color. (I prefer this color to the darker color that some of the pictures make it look like.) To store women's watches, just don't try to close the watch band around the pad. I let it lay loosely over it. It is a great price too, and is a heavy box with a glass lid. It is more than worth the money.

It is a very nice good looking wooden box with a functional lock and key. Yes it fits all of my husband''s watches with room on top. My only misgiving is that it does not have smaller cushions that fit any of my slender or regular sized watches or my bracelet watches. The circumference of the suede cushion exceeds the circumference of my wrist and I am an average woman when it comes to wrist size.Will definitely not recommend for women

After purchasing a couple more watches. I was in need of another watch case. I stayed with the same brand (TimelyBuys) and case as my first case. Which is a very nice and well made case. You can't go wrong with this case and the slots are a good size. The color is a little different, but the quality is there.

Wow - for the cost this is a REALLY nice storage box. Solid wood (or a very nice veneer at least, can't tell) real glass and nice 'pillows' for storing your watches. A felt bottom on the box to prevent scratching. Really nice.The lock isn't really all that high quality but it's definitely not designed for security... since... you know, you could just take the whole thing or break the glass if you wanted.

Yes, I saw all the good reviews for this watch box and I thought "how can this thing be anything but crap for the price?" Well I was wrong and the reviews are right. The craftsmanship is really good, the materials seem top notch, and frankly I think it's going to be around for a long time. It's really nice.
