not easy to grow from seed, but worth the effort
they grow but not easy to grow from seed, 3 months after germination they are still 2-3 inches, will have to wait next year to see flowersUpdate: exact one year later, finally see the flower. here is what happened:1. don't direct sow, you need to start indoor, the germination is slow and they grow very slowly, I transplant them in late summer when they are 3 inches wide2. 5 of them survived winter (9F degree), they remain evergreen in winter, but one was killed by frozen rain in Feb3. out of the rest 4, only one grow big and flowered, other 3 are still very small and no flower, obviously the breed is not pure in these seeds, you need to try multiple to get one keeper4. this is an early bloomer, as early as Hyacinths and the flowers are very saturated purple, very attractive. Its not an easy plant to grow from seed, but Aubrieta is not popular in US, if you don't have access in your local nursery, these seeds are worth trying.

Contaminated with other seeds
Tried germinating some outside, most seeds germinated, along with tons of new weeds that are no where else in my yard. Tried more inside starters.. and it is the seeds. 2 different varieties of pigweed (invasive annual herbs, amaranth family) also managed to sprout. :(
