My Very First Book of Animal Homes Board book – Illustrated, January 18, 2007

Lots of fun ways to use the book. I think the Eric Carle estate is sullying Carle reputation with lots of quick knock-off books that are sub par for the Eric Carle name.

My 3 year old absolutely loves all Eric Carle books. This one came in her Christmas stocking and she loves how it’s interactive.

Great little cardboard book, perfect for that drooling phase! I purchased several Carle books for a baby shower recently and was very happy with my purchase. My own child LIVED for these books when she was little. They can stand up to drooling and chewing--and even being tossed around. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Additionally, the pictures and simple stories become favorites. I would highly recommend these!

I really like this series of matching books by Eric Carle. The pictures are bright and attention getting, and my kid loves to help me flip through and find the match.I purchased this book to use in a co-op class of 2-4 year olds about habitats. To introduce the idea of different homes, I read this book at the beginning and they helped me to find the matching animal to each home. The burrow, hive and cave were especial favorites and not every student had seen them before. One thing to note however - one of the animal "homes" is a turtle and his shell. I wasn't crazy about this because it isn't accurate at all and I didn't want to accidentally cause the students to think that a turtle can leave its shell. I just purposefully skipped that page while we were reading. Other than that the book worked perfectly and was a great start to our session.This was a personal purchase at current retail price, with no promise of review.

We had it for a couple of weeks and our son still picks the book for his night time reading. Is fun to interact with family members even on facetime calls.I would recommend it and have in mind for our son's friends gift.

This book allows my niece to think about where a certain animal would live. You have to flip the pages of the book in order to match the correct habitat for the animal.

Very cute book. Love how it's mix and match, matching the animals to their homes. We keep it in the car and it gives the kids something to do.

Preschoolers really enjoying this book.It is small, but that makes it easier for them to handle. Although we are steering away from board books in our preschool. This format is best for this type of book, that will get a great deal of back and forth page turning.

Cute book

Eric carle holds a whole shelf in my son's library. And these learning ones are just brilliantly designed. The size is also perfect for my toddler to carry them everywhere he goes. Love love love the author

Gran libro para que los pequeños relacionen. Tiene un tamaño perfecto para manejarlo un niño de 2 años. Cartón duro y resistente. Y a un precio muy económico.

I libri cartonati per bimbini non dovrebbero costare più di 7 euro, dovrebbero puntare soprattutto alle immagini e alla semplicità, oltre che a qualche aspetto stimolante le attività dei piccoli esploratori. Questo di Eric Carle racchiude molte caratteristiche, e il design piace anche ai grandi! Risvolto commerciale non da poco!
