Looks good in our dining room
I was able to install most of it by myself. When I got to putting the black cover on I needed another person to hold it in place while I tightened the thumb screws. It was a bit hard lining up the sliding screws with the holes on the black cover. The finished install looks just like the product picture. One thing I did not like is the jars are not blank, they have done sort of Chinese writing on them but we don't see the writing in general use unless your looking for it.

LOVE This Chandelier
I gave this 5 stars because of the final look, but there are a couple things to know about the installation that others have also pointed out. Here's what I think:PROS:-Looks GREAT, ESPECIALLY with the Edison bulbs we picked up from Home Depot with spiral elements. VERY cool-Good value for the priceCONS:-Installation is not difficult but tricky. I'll explain below-Design of the mounting bracket isn't perfect and could require some modification (ours did)Here is what could make your installation not go smoothly-Adjusting the length of the cords. There is a collar the cord passes thru into the base that goes on the ceiling. You unscrew that collar to loosen the tension and pull the cord up thru the hole to shorten or down to lengthen. You wind the excess cord up in the base. One person mentioned struggling to get the cord to stay in the base while trying to attach it to the bracket on the ceiling. I used peel and stick surface mounts and zip ties in the base to route all the excess cord so the cords would be flush/low profile in the base. That kept me from having to deal with tucking them in with one hand while also trying to hold up the fixture and attaching the knurled nuts over the screws that hang down from the mounting bracket with the other. I recommend getting your cords the length you want and tucking in all the cords BEFORE trying to mount the light to the ceiling. Remember, you are doing all this while the wires from the light are attached to the wires coming out of the ceiling so you have to be be able to hold the light up with one hand within a few inches from the ceiling and then tuck the wires into the box and the cords from the lights into the base AND then screw on the knurled nuts, so tuck your cords away FIRST and that's one less thing to wrestle with when you go to mount the light. A second person is really helpful during this process.-Our box in the ceiling was oriented so the holes are parallel with our table. In other words, the holes run the same direction as the table. The bracket is a slotted strip welded to a round slotted plate. The metal strip covers the holes in the bracket if your box is oriented this way, so I had to drill out holes for the screws to pass thru the bracket and up into the box. THAT is how you mount the bracket to the ceiling.-The bracket is only supported in the center by screwing it into the box, but the studs that pass down thru the base are a few inches out where the bracket is not supported, so initially, there was a gap between the base and the ceiling. I just used a drywall screw on each side near the screws that hang down and went thru the strip into the ceiling. It didn't need a lot of extra support so I didn't use anchors. Just going into the drywall was enough to close the gap.-Oh, and the screws that point down from the bracket need to be tightened and spaced so they line up thru the holes in the base before you mount the bracket to the ceiling. They are not studs that are fixed in place and there would be no way to tighten them once you've mounted the bracket to the ceiling. So, again installation was NOT a breeze, but I did it myself with the help of my wife. We didn't need to hire an electrician to install it and it came out GREAT.

Worth the aggravation.
This light was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the look of the glass jars and the fact that they could be hung a varying lengths. I was not happy with the instructions that came with the light. There was not much information and the diagrams were not that helpful. But patience paid off. I highly recommend the light but just be patient with the install or hire to have it hung. I definitely recommend having two people to do install since it is hard to hold and adjust at the same time. I used Wide Mouth Quart Mason jars instead of the jars that came with the fixture. I wasn't sure what the design was or if it was a foreign language and since I do a lot of canning myself it seemed appropriate. I also like the The Mason Jars because the Oblong Edison Bulbs I purchased have more room in the bottom of the jar since they are flatter than the jars that came with it.

Broke but fixable
We had one problem with this light. One of the plastic bulkhead fittings arrived broken. No number to call so we thought about returning it. We got this on deal of the day though at such a good price. So I ended up buying a bag of bulkheads at Amazon $7 for 50. Changed all 5 so they match. You will have to un-wire it to make the repair. If you find yourself in this situation, search Amazon for "pendent light cable gland" to find the parts. Glad we kept it even though I had to fix it.The light looks really nice in my daughter's new house. We like that the lengths are infinitely adjustable. It was not bad at all to install but I would say you need above average skill. You need to do some thinking and planning. There are a lot of wires inside and if you try to just stuff them you will have headaches. First thing decide on lengths. Sit down and adjust them all with a ruler. Take the metal hanging bracket and temporarily mount it to the light fixture base to find the screw locations. You can use a ruler to measure the distance between the holes on the fixture base and secure the screws to the mounting bar. Mine was 19 5/8". Tighten those screws down so you have no headaches for the final mounting later. Leave the bar in the fixture for now. Get a bunch of small cable ties and dress all the wires as needed to stay around the outer perimeter completely away from the mounting bar. Its a bit of a puzzle to get it neat. Then remove the mounting bar and secure the bar to the ceiling. You can either mount the ring to your box or you can offset to one side or the other. You will need mollies or toggle bolts. You will still need to secure to the ceiling whether or not you mounted the ring to the box. If you don't, you risk that the light will sag from the ceiling. I was lucky. I used a strap on the ceiling box with a screw through one end of the mounting bar. The other end of the bar landed perfect on a stud so no mollies were needed. Try the fixture to make sure the screws still line up with the holes. If you don't have a helper, loop some string through the holes on the mounting bar near each end. Hang it about 10" down from the ceiling. Wire it up, pull your strings out and tighten it to the ceiling. Very easy if you think it through.Worth noting, the jar lids are very robust and have a locking screw. Some of these mason jar lights I have installed have very flimsy, easily bent 'lids'. These are solid.

Very pretty light, but a little upset.
We ordered this for our newly constructed home, so I can’t speak to installation because electrician installed. It’s very pretty and turned out fine. But upon looking closer, I realize that the “decoration” on the jars is actually Asian writing. That is not shown or made known in the title, any of the pictures or description. So what I thought were little dots or flowers.. is a language I know nothing about hanging in the middle of my kitchen. Hopefully at some point we will be able to replace the jars.

Looks pretty good, really easy install
I see that every other comment seems to mention it's a hard install and requires two people. I did it solo in about 20 minutes and found it really easy and a sensible design. And that was going through the full process twice. The screws that go through the mounting plate, that you attach the plate to... I lined those up with the holes in the plate and tightened them down before putting everything up. Seemed really obvious to me, but lots of comments say that they don't line up with the plate, which is 100% their fault for not pre-aligning.I installed everything once, the sides were sagging, so took it down and manually bent/curved the mounting bar in a minor U shape so that it curves up on the ends. Redid everything and all was good. Even doing it twice, I managed to get everything done quickly. I just read that people put additional drywall screws in the metal bar and I think I'm going to do that as well. Seems wise to prevent potential, future sag.One thing that I think helped a lot with the install... Wago electrical connectors. If you've only used marrettes/wire nuts you're making your life difficult for lighting installs. I can clip on both Wago connectors in seconds and they take the weight of the light.I will say that I really don't like the jars themselves. I'm going to keep my eye open for some replacement, possibly vintage, wide-mouth mason jars to replace them with.Awaiting Edison lights to arrive, but read about the sizing issue with bulbs-to-jars too late.

It Looks Just Beautiful
I gave the installation process a 4 because it was a tad on the difficult side. This light definitely takes two people to instal. One of the most difficult things was the length of the cords and adjusting them to the proper height for each hanging light. It took two of us for sure to do this step. Once the desired heights were reached, we took the excess cord at the top of the light and used zip ties to keep them together. My husband used two drywall screws to secure the base to the ceiling for added security. Having said all that, we absolutely love the light.!! The cool bulbs just make it. I landed up buying the light bulbs from Dollerama. They were $4.00 each. This light is a great price and added a really neat look to my dining room.

Beautiful looking in the dining room
Tricky to install it with same length, even for my electrician. I wouldn't even attempt on my own 🤣Looks beautiful once installed with regular lightbulbs but much more impressive with Edison lighting.Worth the money!

Great looking fixture
Great looking light fixture. Installation fairly straight forward, but requires 2 people. The supplied mounting bracket needs to be stronger, as it sags at each end due to the weight of the jars. I had to add additional support (not included)into the ceiling to fix the issue, hence the 4 stars. Wife loves it.

Expensive
It's beautiful, easy to install, good quality but honestly they didn't do anything special for the price they are charging for, if you can get the top plate somehow, the rest is very easy to build...
