I've bought these as I'm just getting into fishing and have trouble gripping the fish to remove my hook. I was also getting jabbed by the spines which made the process less than enjoyable, probably just my sensitive side. I only wear one of the gloves on my grip hand. This glove offers amazing grip on the fish in the water and out of the water, its not going anywhere. It also helps great with the pointy dorsal fins and you hand wont slip into the gill plate. I highly recommend this product for the beginner and seasoned angler alike. I'm not sure, but I imagine that handling fish with the glove (always wet first) is better for the health of the fish than a bare hand or being lifted out of the water.

Worked as described, helped me get through a day of kayaking. They were a little thinner than I was expecting but worked for what I needed.They run slightly small

Really happy with this purchase. I got the Small-Medium and these fit me perfectly (I'm about 135 - 145 lb male, 5'7"). Size guide was true to size.Was expecting these to fit a little too tight or too loose, but they fit perfect, just enough room. For ladies / kids these might be a little too big generally speaking, but the quality is great.I expect these to last a decent amount of trips before I'd need to order another pair.

I am a fishing guide. I needed gloves to protect my hands from the sun, and keep my hands from getting sliced up and poked from fins / gill plates / scales. I tried various other brands of gloves--some cheap and some very expensive. I wasn't happy with the quality. I gave these Kast Kings a try. Now, I won't use anything else other than these. I liked them so much, I went back and bought a half dozen other pairs in various colors, and bought the matching neck gaiters.They are snug fitting, even after two seasons of washing in the machine and hanging up to dry. They don't fall apart. The leather patches on the palms are EXACTLY in the right spots for gripping the rod. It covers enough of the fingers, but leaves the tips open for tactile stuff. And they are CHEAP compared to other gloves and the quality of those competitors' products.I've personally been a bit disappointed in the quality of some of the other Kast King products, specifically fishing hardware. I am very picky and particular, and I have a low tolerance for cheaply made material. My equipment gets a lot of use, so durability is very important to me. Despite other strikeouts, Kast King hit a home run with these gloves. These are great.

I would think these would be great for paddling, but I found them a bit too thick and stiff to have a good feel of my line when fishing.

Well-made gloves that fit perfectly and should last for years to come. Can't wait to get them all smally like a fish.

Use these gloves for kayaking. Its been saving my hands from excess blisters. Great wear even in hot weather.
