Most companies get five stars for sending the right part on time. Custom Wheels Express went above and beyond expectations to “earn” their five stars. I purchased these rims at the beginning of January and received them a day or two earlier than expected. However, I had not decided on the tires I wanted and did not have the time to complete my research and have the tires installed until the middle of March (two and a half months later). At that time, when my mechanic went to install my new tires and rims, he discovered one of the center caps was much larger than the other three. I immediately contacted the company and received a reply within 20 minutes. He wanted a picture of the caps and wanted to make sure all four rims were the proper “six lug” rims, the larger cap is for an “eight lug” rim. Then they immediately shipped a replacement cap that I received two days later. I put these on my 2004 GMC Sierra extended cab. I had been running chrome 22"s that came on the truck when I purchased it. These made the truck a definite head-turner, but I never liked the way they rode. I decided to go with a 16" wheel for a more comfortable ride. I wanted a wheel that would look nice and not totally make the truck look like a plain-jane.You must be very careful buying aftermarket 16" wheels for GM trucks. In 1999 they increased the size of the brake rotors, and wheels designed for GM trucks 1998 and earlier. Most wheels I found WERE NOT designed for GM trucks 1999-2005.These wheels are beautiful. Though not chrome, they are quite shiny, with some contrast between the brushed parts and the polished parts. The clearcoat is flawless. I paired them with a set of BF Goodrich Long Trail LT245/70/15. The 8" wheel was the perfect size for these tires, I was a little afraid they might be too wide.I would like to note that the large 4" opening should make these wheels fine for Isuzu Troopers, which have a 5.5" (139mm) lug pattern but require a large opening. I haven't tried it on my 1991 Trooper yet, but I will eventually. These would make a nice improvement for the stock 15" wheels on Troopers 1991 and earlier.I have absolutely no issues with these wheels and am very glad I made the purchase.Yesterday, I happened to park beside a truck that had an older set of American Racing wheels, not the same style but also clearcoated machined aluminum. I do not know how old they were, but they still looked as new as mine.The reason I noticed them is that the centercaps, which are made of a very thin chromed steel, were rusted. During my research before buying these wheels, I saw numerous reviews that recommended waxing chrome centercaps. I would definitely agree, and when the sun comes back out tomorrow, I will be outside giving my centercaps a wax job.I would definitely buy these wheels again.

Put these (16x8"/6x139.7mm, 0mm offset) on my 2005 Chevy Colorado Z71 Crew Cab. Mounted Falken Wildpeak AT3W All Terrain Radial Tire - 265/75R16 116T on them. Installed a Torsion Key front end lift to raise the front end approx. 3". Called Custom Wheel Outlet to confirm the right fit. They were very helpful. Love the look of the rims. Finish is still perfect.
