Heartwarming, suspenseful animal adventure,
Ok, I started reading Survivors books not too long ago, as I am also a Warriors fan. I love this far more than Warriors! The characters are very likable (I like Lucky and Lick most, and Alpha the least,) This book make you laugh, cry, and leaves you in suspense after each chapter. Now for the plot. Lucky and Alpha have reached an uneasy truce of some sort, and the pack must search for a stable territory; as they have Fierce Dogs for enemies that want to get Lick once more, and kill them as well. While Lucky and Fiery were hunting, they came across a savage pack led by a mad dog called "Terror." The psychotic dog drives them out of his forest, which he claims is his territory, and the Pack now much leave; away from Terror's nasty fangs and the acrid rain. But a change in plan comes in hand (or paw) when humans take Fiery, and it is up to Lucky, Moon, Twitch (whom apparently is in Terror's Pack), Martha, and Lick to save Fiery.Overall, a 5 out of 5 star book (I wish I could give more stars) for being suspenseful, action-packed, and a howling good time. If you loved books 1-3 of Survivors, you will love this. I can't wait for the next book!

Lucky's tale continues in this wonderful book.
This review contains mild spoilers.I am an avid Survivors fan. I got the first book the day it came out, and have pre-ordered every book since. Needless to say, my expectations were very high. I wasn't disappointed! This particular book was written by Gillian Phillips.Lick was adorable, as always. In The Broken Path, she is maturing fast. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Erin Hunter does with her story in future books. Nose and Squirm get their real names, and although I didn't like Squirm's choice, it does show his personality. Nose's name was fantastic, I thought. If you thought Darkness Falls showed Alpha's personality, The Broken Path reveals everything. Alpha has no excuse for his behavior now. I was originally a fan of Alpha. I thought he was just trying to do his best for his pack. No more! The book went by fast, as always. It was good, though. I loved the new "villain". He was perfect, I thought. The Broken Path was definitely worth a read, and for me, a buy. I reread thisseries over and over again, feeling the same thrill every time. I recommend it for anyone who likes adventure, dogs, or Erin Hunter's other series. Of Seekers, Warriors, and Survivors, I like Survivors the best. Thanks for reading!

Awsome! but mixed feelings.
This book was absolutely Wounderfull and exciting and i could go on, however i hate the part when Fiery dies for a couple resons, first i hate Alpha and i want Fiery to become Alpha. Okay nvm that, Anyway i have a theory about Storm/lick killing Terror, first i think we all agree that he had rabies *coughs* Anyway so Storm/Lick bit and had Terrors blood in her mouth, so. . . STORM HAS RABIES YA'LL!! Anyway i recommend these books for 4th 5th grade graders. i also say if you have not read: Wings of fire, Warriors, Seekers then please do they are amazing books too!!

Once, again, an astonishing book.
Now that the three pups Lucky rescues have been separated, with Wiggle being dead, and Grunt having left to join the Fierce Dog pack, Lick, the remaining pup, must face the pack that guarded her. Alpha still doesn't trust her, and she continues to struggle to contain her wild and fierce instincts. When Moons pups are given their full grown names, and Lick is denied hers, she sets out to prove herself. The pack heads out to find a new territory. One that is safe from the clouds of ash and destruction from the Big Growl. Alpha has proven to be an unstable leader at times ,and when a new threat appears, Alpha's leadership is challenged. The threat, a pack lead in fear by an insane dog named Terror, leads to Alpha's pack in need to move on and find new food, far from the vicious dog, that claims to be lead by an unknown spirit dog, Fear-Dog. Fiery is captured by Longpaws, and the pack argues on whether or not it rescue him. The pack splits due to their disagreement, and...Well, that's all I will tell you. You must read to find out.

I have not read the whole book 😅
I really like the idea of the book and I love the series the only thing I don't like is that Lucky and Sweet seem to fight a lot not as much as Alpha and Lucky but in other words I think it's a good book series I highly recommend it.

Creepy, not for young readers, weird book compared to others.
Before I explain why I gave it two stars I want to mention I gave the other 3 books 5 stars, but had problems with this one. I felt uncomfortable with Terror as a villain, and felt a bit creeped out. I do not know how I feel about that whole idea with him. It was disturbing. There are lots of serious issues in the book and seems more like an adult book at times. These are not cute dog tales, and are about survival, death, and even spiritual battles which I find a bit odd because these are often found in the 10-12 year old section.Other then that, it was a good book. I liked the other 3 better though. I just hope the series doesnt get too out of control. I do not mind it being more serious and about life, death, survival, romance, and heartache but if it starts to get demonic or a bit weird, I might put the series down (basically Terror gets seizures and talks to some kind of demon dog Fear dog and it thinks it is king and rules the other dogs.) A weird book compared to the others.Another major problem I had with this one is it insulted Twitch for having a bad leg. He was called a useless cripple and other words, which I do not think is right in a book for young readers as being disabled really exists, and it does not make one useless. Twitch makes up for it, but I felt the insults were unesseccary and Erin Hunter should still have morals towards her readers who could be disabled too. His leg holding him back was one thing but the insults were not right, I myself personally know disabled people who I would not show this book too. I do not mean that Erin Hunter needs to sugar coat the book (because I did like the first 3 and the whole Warriors series), but I think this could have been written better, keeping the audience of readers in mind. Being a good writer does not mean to risk losing morals towards real people who do suffer every day.If the whole book was the exact same with those 2 things altered it would have been a 5 star book.
