Werner PA210 250-Pound Duty Rating Aluminum Extension Plank, 14-Inch Wide by 10-to-17-Feet Long

Staining my house needed to access two peaks, one over a garage and the other over a screen house. Last time I had to do the peaks I used 2" x 12" wood planks. This summer I tried using the wood planks again but being a bunch of years older and smarter I just couldn't get up on the wood planks. This aluminum extension plank gave me the 'Length' and 'Stability' I needed to safely access the peaks and complete staining my peaks. Size and weight of the plank were very manageable for a 60 year old guy. Very sturdy construction. The Locking mechanism that sets the plank in 12-inch increments was a very useful feature.

Strong and portable. It is easy to set up and use when working by yourself.

I am no stranger to extension planks and purchased this one to use while building my house. Although my weight is at or just above the duty rating I feel very comfortable walking out on this plank. I have used it closed, fully open and just about every setting in between. It has an extension locking pin that presets various lengths, 'USE IT'. Just remember, if you are going to use an extension plank more than a few feet above the ground make sure you are comfortable with the height, and what ever you do, "Don't step back to admire your work." Also, extension planks are wider than the upper most treads of a stepladder so you can't use it more than a couple of feet off the ground. The higher up on a step ladder you go the less stable it becomes.

This is a well built heavy duty telescoping scaffolding plank that will last many years to come. Very strong and durable and its 10 feet minimum which is a good length plank to be useful in construction and the ability to extend the 17 feet is perfect.

Good product. Good price. Fast and free delivery!But I asked for delivery without a signature because I work as a painting contractor and not at home. The photo shows where it was damaged (dropped?). It is still usable and I can probably bend it back (sort of),but I don’t feel like I have a new piece of equipment

Lightweight but doesnt bounce when spread out and you walk on

Bought this for our son and he is thrilled to have it. It will stretch out pretty wide and he can use it indoors painting also.
