Exactly the same I needed

Item felt like OE quality, very heavy construction, also very quiet compared to original starter, I found out too late to keep any dripping/leaking oil off the starter since oil will damage the motor windings if it finds it's way inside. Had to use a large drill bit to slightly enlarge the bottom mounting hole, since this only took a minute I won't deduct any stars for it. Highly recommend you TAKE YOUR TIME installing the bolts that secure it in place, I cleaned mine up before bolting new unit up. If you cross-thread one of these and then use an impact to power 'em home you'll be in a world of hurt.

Overall it is ok for the price difference of 100$ ill make some exceptions the solder points do look a little anemic but so far its working fine i do have an extremely upgraded stereo and electrical system tho my car has 4 1000CCA batteries where the normal user will have 1 at most so extra power is not an issue for me

Engine makes a high pitch sound as soon as I start the vehicle. Item was discovered defective after installation. Unfortunately, the return window has closed since I waited for other parts to come in before I had this part replaced so it can all be done at one time.

Worked good for one month, then we the solonoid coil shorted. Pretty much crappy junk.

One of the bolt holes was smaller than the original went to Lowe’s and got the correct size. I’d rather pay 1 to 2 dollars for a bolt than pay $150-$200 for a new starter at O’Reillys or AutoZone or Napa. I put the starter on about a month ago and no problems

It looks pretty good to me. I'm installing it into my 2002 rendezvous soon, I'll have an update after that's done. Can't beat the price, it's less than half of the cost of one from the parts store here. It'll live longer than the car it's going into.Update. Very easy install, under 30 minutes. Not sure why some reviews say there's no hardware, the electrical connections have it, the mounting hardware should be reused as it is OEM quality and shouldn't need replaced. It starts my car, that's all I can say. It's winter here and the cold doesn't slow it down. Great buy.Update several months later, still good!!

Perfect fit and working good. Maybe a little noisy ( sound like a snowblower starter ).Make the job !!!

Works fine so far

This product works for a 2000 Pontiac 4 door sunfire 2.2 L. Installation took 1 hour. Make sure to keep track of connections to the old one so that you hook the new one up correctly. Nuts were a bit fussy but overall excellent value so far.
