Leg Avenue Women's Thigh High Stockings with Silicone Lace Top

I ordered these in nude and black. I've only worn the nude so far, but the black shouldn't be a problem.I've seen some reviews complaining about the fit, whether the stockings stay up, and also about runs. I suspect these can all boil down to not ordering the right size. The two sizes cover a specified weight range. If you're beyond the middle of the range, that could lead to uncomfortable fit, premature runs if the fabric is stretched too tight, and also stretching of the silicone bands, which will prevent them from staying up.At 115 pounds I'm safely in the range for the size I chose. I've worn the same pair several times and they stay put. I've experienced no runs, even though I had a jagged edge on a nail that caught on the hose. I love the Leg Avenue stockings; I also have several pairs of the thigh-highs with backseam (those bad boys will weather almost anything we put them through), and I was super pleased to find some that didn't require a garter belt all the time.

I read the reviews on this product, but ordered anyway, because the reviews were better on this product compared to many of the other stay-up thigh highs. I am very pleased with them. They were shipped very quickly and arrived in a very nice package. I was a little worried when I took them out and saw that they did not have a foot in them. However, after pulling them on, the foot was not needed. They have plenty of stretchiness that they conform to your foot and leg and since they are this stretchy, I am happy that the foot is not there. I often have problems with hose that have the foot shape, because it rarely fits me properly where the foot is too big or too small and then I am constantly pulling at them. These stockings fit perfectly. I don't agree with other reviews that state you must be very tall to wear these. I am only 5'4" and they are the perfect length. They come up my thigh approximately 3/4 of the way to my crotch. This is the perfect spot. They aren't too long or too short. I hate to have a pair of stockings that barely come over my knee so that when I wear them with a dress and I sit down it is obvious I am wearing thigh high stockings. If I am at home and just trying to use them for seducing my husband, then who cares; but if I want to wear them with a dress and go out, then I prefer for it not to be apparent to others what I choose to wear under my clothing. These stockings are the perfect length and they really do stay up, but you can also use them with a garter. I like having the double protection, because if a garter snaps or comes loose, these stockings will stay up. They don't run easily and the stocking is very soft to the touch, which is very important when I am trying to use them for seducing my husband. I don't want him to run his hand across them and feel something scratchy, that so breaks the mood. I highly recommend these stockings. They are exactly what I was looking for and the price is also very good. I will order more.

They don't stay up very well, are flimsy even for thin stockings and have a seam on the back of the top where the lace is that makes them look cheap. They might be good for a halloween costume or something, but definitely not for everyday. I would not recommend these. Also, the bottom part that is supposed to be shaped like your foot is not, so it is hard to tell which is the front or the back before you put them on.

I have bought the la1022 for my girl friend as now it seems they are really a poor quality,the toes are no longer covered with that dark silky strip and the material is really cheap and does not even feel smooth or silky.They actally feel rough to be honest.they either changed vendors or cut cost to make them cheaper and boy did they.WE will be looking for something else from now on,what a shame as was a great product as they were silky,and darker then the other brands and would stretch better as well.Don't buy the la1022's anymore you will be disappointed unless you get old stock.

These worked great for me,I got black and white =] although I accidentally got the black par stuck in a knot around the feet and had to cut them off.. but the legs sill held up with no runs! I just wear them as nifty leggings.Also thigh-highs like these [with a few inches of elastic] are great to wear over tights to hold them up [especially if the thigh highs are fishnets.]

These are gorgeous and sexy looking. The only thing I was really worried about was whether they would stay up. I am tallish and often stockings have the wrong height to width ratio, either not long enough or too wide and loose.No worries with these! They are very stretchy so could be worn at different heights. I think they would work fine for a range of different heights. The silicone in the lace band does hold them up nicely.I found that they are much more flattering when worn a little lower on the leg, like the model in the picture. I am pretty fit, skinny and not squishy but even on me they were dead unflattering pulled up high. Worn lower they do not squeeze or distort the leg line and do stay up just fine.Have worn twice and washed once so far, quality seems good. They are delicate, of course, but have not gotten rips or runs, and for the price I consider the quality exceptional.Only complaint, and it's not just with these - I really wish they could make stockings out of a more breathable material. Stockings have been out of fashion in my state for years and I had forgotten how much they increase foot stinkiness. When worn all day with a pair of heels, this was a problem.

The shipping on this item was fast and great had no problems. I think they are comfortable and they were a great price, however I get a little annoyed with that clear stay up thing on the inside. I would just go with a regular thigh high as opposed to the stay up. I was pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy from this seller again. Fit and length was perfect I was worried about length because I am short 5'1 but they were great.

The lace is super cute in person and the silicon thing makes it stay up very well without a garter belt
