My male cat gets off and on urinary issues, read the reviews from several customers with such praise, I had to try it, he's been on it for a year, only give him some drops either by mouth when he has a flare up, and in less than 8 hours he's back to normal, I can always tell when he needs it, gets very quiet and hides under bed bench, refuses food, that is not normal for him, he talks constantly and chases his younger sibling, I know it does not have any study for use as a regular dosage, I do notice this past 6 months, when I put a dosage in his wet food, once a week, he has not had any flare up in 3months, and now going on 2 months and still no flare ups to date. Note : I did try small dosage once a day, but he'll have an upset stomach and throw up, so I only do once a week. Still working well, very please, just hope the company continues to produce this product, , got worried when the label changed but ingredient are the same.

My cat has been having some bladder issues, and I had previously taken him to the vet for meds, which only temporarily controlled then issue. Alfapet has been an integral part of his maintenance schedule. If it flares up I’ll increase the dose and add something else like 1/4 ML of apple cider vinegar to help break down crystals more. Overall I’m glad I looked into it. More affordable and more gentle on my senior guy. UPDATE: I want to add that I discovered that he does absolutely need his prescription hills urinary care c/d to actually fully maintain crystal dissolving in his case. He had a bad flare up MAR of 2021 that I could not control with supplements alone and nearly required surgery. However I fully believe this product strongly influenced how well his body reacted and bounced back from being hospitalized for it. His liver snd kidney levels remained or recovered quicker than what was worried about by the vets and I do believe alfapet could have had something to do with that. I still continue to add this to his regimen along with his prescription c/d and he’s been having a normal bladder since then and no blocks since Mar 2021, which is when afterwards we got him on his urinary c/d food. I do still hold this product in high regard as a good addition to a routine for issues with crystals. Perhaps more for mild uti issues it’s perfect on its own, but not severe case of crystals. I stand with it at the same review rating even if it just helped keep the bladder and kidney system tone while letting the urinary c/d food work on the crystals is still a good routine. So yeah the stars remain the same, I discovered it’s still good, just for a different reason than I thought, but thought it important enough to describe the distinction for how and why I used this and still use it.

Tho it is unsure whether my neighbors dog has kidney stones, encompassed with infection, but has a history of kidney issues, he asked me what could be done for his painful dog, straining to urinate, while access to a vet is unavailable. As a retired veterinarian assistant, & I run a senior animal sanctuary, he came to me for assistance. With only droplets of cloudy urine being passed by his obviously compromised 11 yr old dog, I recommended antibiotics & this kidney cleansing supplements, along with a Stone Breaker supplement to cover as many bases which may be causing this painful kidney / urinary issue, before it turned septic.It has been a week since my recommendations were started, & my neighbor is thrilled at the results 😅👍 Dog is looking & acting much better within the first few days; Urine flow is now clear & flowing 80% to normal. I don’t know for a fact if this product helped. I can say it is possible, & it didn’t hurt.Living in a rural area, & limited to affordable veterinary care, leaves many loving pet owners struggling to provide necessary care for their pets. Tho all supplements are not suitable or safe for our pets… I am reassured that some are extremely beneficial & can be lifesaving if proper research is done. I am grateful this product is available & has been an aid to people with their pets, as well as a loving & loyal companion 🐕 as well.

I bought this on recommendation from my vet because I have an Australian Golden Shepard. And he told me this would be helpful in the long run to keep my precious doggie healthy - Yes I am a worrying new Doggie Daddy. So anything to keep my loving Doggie healthy I am sold, But this product sold it self as it is on the small side but a little goes far as it comes with a handy measure dropper. Just be sure to read the instructions so you administer the correct amount for your fur babies age and weight and frequency, it will not be worth a hill of beans if you over medicate your precious fur baby. For this great product it is an awesome price as well, I will be buying from this seller many times

i have been using same UTI product for my cat for few years now, and it always only said 'best by date' at the bottom of bottle (since my cat can only handle a few drops a day, vs their recommended dosage, one bottle lasts a long time, however i'm still within the best by date stated)....until i ordered their product that's now in a new label...which says you only have 2 months of time to store it once it's been opened! How the heck am I supposed to get thru an entire bottle before the 2 months are up!?....plus now their site says 'can't be returned' (even tho i never unwrapped anything...note of the 2 months if opened is posted on the outside of the box so i never needed to open it). For $20 a bottle, with their 'now new expiration' notice of 2 months once opened, I will be throwing away about 2/3rds of this bottle (there goes about $14 worth of the $20 I had to pay for this!). Looking for another product now.
