Vintage Forge Nickel Metal Single Coil Pickup Mounting Ring for Fender Telecaster Guitar PRT10-NKL

I was replacing the stock Tele "lip-stick" neck pick-up but was going to miss the chrome cover look, so I decided to try the chrome pick-up surround and love the way it looks. Along with a new matching cream pick-guard, to match the binding, (the original pick-guard was white) on a guitar w/cream binding. Now, sounds great with gfs fatbody tele pup's and Vintage Forge Chrome pup surround on my HB 62 re-issue guitar.

I used this on a tele , it looks nice and fit well . No problems .

It is very nice I just hope the pickup fits in it and I don't have to do any filing on it.

Bought this to use with my custom Warmoth Tele build. I had originally planned on wood-mounting the neck pickup but messed up when drilling out the holes for it (beginner's mistake). The chrome of this goes very well with the chrome of a telecaster build, all over looking very classy. Good solid heft to the thing, too. Very happy with my purchase.

At least for Seymour Duncan pickups, the pickup height adjustment screw is too large to fit through the hole on the pickup mount ring. The 2 holes on the pickup mounting ring for the 2 pickup adjustment screws have to be drilled out a bit to accommodate the adjustment screws

I have tried a few sources for this part and this is the only one that fits properly and looks professional. I have ordered black and chrome so far and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Be aware these rings are magnetic and therefore ferrous. They are not brass.Depending on your application this could change pickup performance.Other than that, they appear to be made well.
