Excellent Tone from a small gauge string
These strings are excellent. I use the 9-42 on my Virgo and am very pleased with the tone they produce. I am more of a "Heavy String" player, (I run 13-56 on my Strat), but these are so much easier to play for practice and noodling around. Very long life as well. I have tried numerous strings in my quest for perfect tone, and these have become my standard.

Like these on my danelctro
Used on a daneletro convertible…nice and smooth, good tone, not as bright as round wound but good in my case

Won me over.
When I first tried these strings they did feel a little different, I've been using reg boomers and these feel as one reviewer said a little "sticky" and my first though was, "I won't buy these again," but they sounded good and by the end of the first week I was hooked, they do take a little getting used to, and over reg boomers, they last twice as long with a little brighter tone an smoother feel after they break in. Give them a try, there are only so many things you can do for improved tone and play-ability, and new strings can make a big difference.

Great strings, highely recommended
These strings I bought for my acoustic guitar, because I like the sound of thinner strings when playing acoustic guitar. It creates a nice soft, smooth, and defined sound. It also lowers the volume of the acoustic guitar. These strings are very flexible and feel very good to play. The only reason why this is rated at 4 stars is because while attempting to tighten the high E string for the first time while replacing my old strings, the string broke. I'm no newbie at tuning, plus I was using a chromatic tuner, so it's no like I could've tightened it too much by mistake. The string didn't even reach E before it snapped. Luckily I had a replacement. Hopefully not all packs are like this, because I would like to purchase these strings again. I do reccomend these strings to anyone.

Yes!
I bought these along with the David Gilmour set & the bass boomers since all my instruments needed maintenance. Love these strings & their playing quality especially since these were put on an older instrument. Easy on the fingers. Will be trusting GHS for the foreseeable future!

Old School Strings that Stay in Tune
I love these strings. They sound warm, yet clear, feel really smooth, they are easy to bend notes with, last long and work well with both single and double coil pickups. They also have a really nice vintage vibe.

Great Strings
I have a few guitars, and try to play a lot of different sorts of music. For the last year or so I've been trying to find strings that I'm really happy with for my strat, which I use mainly for stuff in the blues/funk/classic rock vein. I very quickly homed-in on pure nickel strings in general, and have tried several different sets. I think though that these guys may be the ones I stick with, they give me pretty much exactly what I'm looking for from that guitar. Not a lot to say beyond that, they're great strings! I will say one thing though: a few people have mentioned the feel of these strings as being weird, and I will say that yes, that are that. I use the "light" set (.010), and I'll attest that these suckers can be finger killers... if you don't have serious callouses, you might want to try something else. It's not a deal-breaker by any means, just something to think about. Of course, if you don't have callouses, after a month with these strings, you will!Recommended!

wonderful
I've been using the regular nickel strings from GHS and decided to give these a try. If you like your sound to be warm and full, these strings can help with that immensely. They sound fantastic, don't die quickly, and feel great. I play with a rather heavy left hand with a guitar that has stainless steel frets, and these strings will last me over a month before they start sounding dead, and for non-coated strings, that is a long time. Most strings only last me 1-2weeks
