Interesting and well written.
I consider these books an "adult fairy tale". I bought and read the first one. I immediately bought the second, the third and so on. I am now waiting for number 6 to be loaded on my kindle. They may be written for"young readers", but I'm past 70 and am enjoying them immensely! Try them you'll like them!!!

You won't be able to put this down!
This was so incredibly intense! The visuals and emotions kept me gripping my kindle. I was so afraid it would end that I kept checking to make sure I still had more to read, just in case. Bella Forrest did not disappoint!!! I so desperately wished I could jump right inside this book to see what they see and experience everything with them. You aren't going to be able to put this down once you start!

Save your money!
I bought and read the first book and found it diverting enough. A California millennial witch foster child who discovers a magical world. The first book had some character development and was quirky enough. I bought several more books in the series. By book 5 I had had enough, set the story down and walked away. The plot was repetitive and completely predictable. There were long passages about teenage angst but little to develop the characters or the "magical world" in a detailed way. I got so upset with the same plot reversal that I could not tolerate any more of the story. This series was advertised as the next thing for Harry Potter readers. The language and story telling is not even is same class as JK Rowling. Completely disappointing. You are warned!

Magic, mystery and mayhem
There is so much going on in this book. The Rag team are trying to outwit Katherine which is proving to be a mammoth task. Running parallel to that thread are the blossoming relationships between the four couples. There is a lot of teenage angst, self discovery and support within this group of magical. Levi the dictator is doing his best to hinder any progress they try to make and his hatred of Harley has blinded him to her potential of being able to take on Katherine as she is the only one who has the power to do it. This series is a entertaining and their are nuances of Harry Potter in these chapters. The quest to seek retribution and save the world may be Harley's undoing, only time will tell.

Harley Merlin book 5
If you’ve enjoyed the previous stories in this series, you will likely enjoy this too. Is the writing perfect? No, it’s far from it. But I nevertheless find myself sucked into this series without being able to put the books down, and this newest edition is no different. This is probably my favorite of the bunch, perhaps because of Harley’s vulnerabilities, or perhaps because this is the first time in the series I’ve actually enjoyed when the author switches to another character’s perspective. In this book, Harley races against the clock to try to safely deal with her suppressor slowly breaking. I do think that sometimes, some of the things Harley (or the other characters) are up against rectify themselves too easily, which feels unrealistic and a bit of a cop out, but I read the book in a day and ended with a longing to read more. I truly cannot wait for the next installment.

Good story/ series is 4 books too long
This is my favorite series from this author so far. The characters are likable and the plot is interesting and engaging. I burned out by book 4. This author likes to write 7 book series. So the stories get dragged out way way too much! This could have been perfect in a 4 book series. By book 7 I was bored with it even though I wanted to see it resolved.

Good. Not great
Uggh ..I liked wade..No loved wade in the previous books. But this book made him seem obsess, annoying, soft, lovey dovey.. Just plain annoying.I pray for book 6 that there are no wade chapters. This book want as good as the others either. Harley was very repetitive. Every time something went off,she blamed it on the suppressor. Her anger was crazy..suppressor..Her sense of smell..suppressor..Her feelings..suppressor.. it .was becoming annoying. Not saying the book was bad..hence the4 stars. Just a lot of unnecessary writing. I definitely skimmed thru a few pages. Especially wades chapters.

The fate of the magical world is at stake since no one has been able to stop the Cult of Eris
Katherine Shipton always seems to be a step ahead with spies everywhere and with her powers growing continually. Quetzacoatl has been lost when she steals him to kill in the 1st ritual and gain his power. Harley and the Rag Team fought hard to try and save him, but Kayherine's power was too much and in the battle Astrid lost her life. Although her father brought her back, it seems that part of her soul is missing. Alton resigns as Coven leader because of his involvement in Quetzi's death. Race'sfather takes over and he hates the Rag Team and seems determined to destroy the SDC. Katherine is preparing for the next ritual and Harley is going to die unless some drastic measures are taken.

Harley Merlin 5
If you lived the other books in this series then you will love this one as well. With time running out for Harley to balance the chaos inside her this book takes us on her journey to complete the spell needed to balance the light and dark. The new director of sdc makes life so much harder for the rag team but Harley also finds some unexpected help along the way. I won't give any spoilers, you need to pick up this book today to find out if Harley succeeds in stopping Katherine complete the 2nd ritual and if she manages to balance the chaos. You won't be disappointed x

Harley Merlin 5
As expected, great book, lots going on and unexpected characters coming into the story. Lots of action, people dying and God's appearing to help where they can, the hierarchy changing at the coven and enemies becoming allies. Looking forward to the next book hopefully soon

Compulsive reading. Follow the Rag Team in the Santiago Coven.
Couldn’t specify on book five. I started the Harley Merlin books a few weeks back and I am now on book eleven. They are very addictive , as I come to the end of one book I immediately download the next. Al the books, so far, have been hypnotic and I can’t wait for the next.

Too many plot holes drawn out over 5 books (so far) for no reason at all
I was really excited when I read the first book; I initially thought it promised something different and exciting but all the subsequent books (this one included) made less and less sense as the books piled up. The characters keep doing things because “they have no choice” when any number of other alternatives would have been an infinitely better option. They also seem to think they are the only ones capable of defeating the main villain but keep failing miserably every time they go up against her and actually make things worse. The glaring potholes are now impossible to ignore and I just can’t stomach the idea of reading either of the two remaining books. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to read any of them.

An absolutely amazing read
This was as brilliant as the previous books. I loved every page, happy that Wade and Harley realized at last they had feelings for each other, she faced Kathrine and survived but she has a much harder task to face, she is getting help from her step brother. Home it works out well. Can't wait for the next book. Really recommend this great story.
