They run big
These will contain potty accidents when combined with thick training underwear as long as the underwear is fully covered. They do run big. My 4.5 year old wears size 4/5 clothes and the 3T ones are big on him. I wouldn't want them smaller though because I put them over training underwear for use at night.

Diaper Cover
This is a product we bought of our grandchildren during a time that there were shortages on the market. WIth new born children it is always helpful to be prepared if the product can not be found in the store. My wife was pleased with the product and would suggest others buy the product for a ...JUST IN CASE EXPERIENCE.

Definitely not leak proof.
I gave this a 5 start on potty training because my son hated wearing “baby diapers” (as he called them) over his underwear so he only peed in them a few times before he started using the potty everytime. The training pants were too big on my son so it did not prevent leaks at all for us my son is tiny and has no butt to fill in the training pants. If I end up using them on my daughter I will update my review.

Why so huge?
i bought the right size based on their guide. However, these suckers are about twice as big in the waist as they are supposed to be and my toddler is twice the size of a regular sized toddler their age. These are really stretchy but not very comfortable. Easy to clean and okay in a pinch, but not the good, really.

They leaked
I just started training my 2 and a half year ..he is tall and 35 pounds..I was worried about the sizing, but this is the biggest waterproof pant I found. He complained of itching and them being too small. He really does not like the feel of them. He is mostly potty trained during the day. The first night I put these on over a pair of organic training underwear, that weren't very thick, I noticed that his pajama pants were slightly wet the next morning. I decided to order the Gerber Training underwear for underneath, since they appeared thicker. I have just tried them for two nights in a row, and both nights my son and the bed were soaked. I wish Earth's Best had overnight pants because their diapers are the best and chlorine free. I decided to try the Huggies overnight pull-ups. Until then, I am using 2 pairs of Whole Foods pull-ups for overnight. I am sending pants back.

Works great
These are truly leak proof until you unknowingly pick the child up. It has to go somewhere. Lol. Also, when an accident does occur, have child stand on towel to catch what’s in plastic pants. Do not buy the same size as the diaper, you want it snug on the legs.

Better than expected
I brough the gerber plastic pants to use in the potty training of my 2 year granddaughter. I use the plastic pants and regular undies during the day and the pull ups at night. The pull ups are too much like a pamper and she went in them like a pamper. With regular undies she felt the wetness and did not like being wet and started using the potty. The plastic pants are a lot stronger then I thought. She don't wet through them. They have to be washed out by hand but they dry quickly. I'm going to buy some more because the potty training is going very well.
