Lil' BitzTraining Treats for Dogs and Cats (1 Pack, All Dog Sizes - Wild Salmon + Kelp)

Horrible. I ordered 6 pkgs. b/c they were $1.49/pk. No wonder so cheap! Our dogs/cats won't come near these Not a single dog or cat in our neighborhood will eat them! I've tried giving them away and everyone says their dog(s) don't even want to try them after smelling them! I tossed a handful to the mongoose and/or feral cats or birds and not any of them touched them. Not even the rats or wild pigs ate them after dark!!! Ugh Now I have to go out and pick them all up. ...Hopefully whenever the other flavor arrives, they will be better, otherwise, we threw away approx. $10! I don't like giving bad reviews, but these are awful!

Yes that's right...I bribe my dog to to come to me! I praise my 1-year old pup like she just won the Nobel Prize all the time, and we practice the COME command everyday, but let's be honest here, once outside, my dog has the attention span of a 1-year old pup! Even the most well-behaved dogs need some incentives, so having Lil' Bitz Wild Salmon + Kelp Training Treats on me is the single most reliable guarantee I have my dog will respond every time and anywhere I call out her name. My pup would drop whatever shenanigans she's engaged in & come to me immediately...sometimes along with other dogs. In fact this treat makes me the most popular person at the dog park whenever I bring it out. That's why I don't leave home without it. The attached photo shows how focused my dog is when I have this treat in my hand...can you tell she just came running back from her shenanigans?!! LOL :-)

I’m surprised to see that some pets didn’t like these. Our dog likes them and we love giving them to him. He’s a 5 year old Australian Sheppard mix and we use these (both flavors) for training when we are away from home. At home we use homemade treats however they require refrigeration so these are much easier to take along on walks, hikes, etc. I don’t find them to have a strong odor and I like that they are small but I can still break them apart easily. We have added these to our subscribe & save orders do we won’t run out.

My cats won’t touch it. Added it to their food dishes and they ate around it.

We got these in our "puppy pack" when we picked up our new puppy. We realized the other treats we bought for her were chewier than expected, not so great for training. So, we tried these and she absolutely loved them immediately. We use these and plain boiled chicken for her training. These treats are really easy to break up so we can control the size of her treats. They do leave a slight residue on our fingers but that will be the case for any treat you are handling. Plus, the price is amazing for these! Great for if you're on a budget but I'm also genuinely surprised they are not more expensive.My only qualm is that I do wish these were lower calorie. They are 4 calories per treat and I prefer that my training treats are only 1 calorie. However, as I mentioned, these treats are easy to break up into bits and "portion control," so to speak.

I've been looking around for treats that are suited to cats because there just aren't a lot of soft treats on the market for cats (for some reason). Sadly, the cats didn't have great interest in these--one wouldn't even try them. No stars taken off for that because they aren't formulated for cats.My dog thinks they're great though, so off they go to the dog treat stockpile! They're a little big for training treats, but they're very easy to break apart. They feel pretty saturated with oil so don't leave them on top of anything you don't want stained! The ingredient list is short and has nothing worrying in it, which is what I look for in everything my animals eat.

My pup loves these! It's really aided in his training, he gets so excited when I pull out the bag, he'll do anything for one. The smell, while not exactly pleasant, isn't overwhelming. Perfect size for quick rewards without breaking the flow of training. They're soft and chewy so I would recommend brushing after feeding so they don't stay stuck in your pops teeth and cause bad breath.

The dogs love these and they are good for them to eat. I like these as I use them when working with the dogs in order to reinforce positive behavior. I like the fact the dogs like the flavor and the dogs are very receptive to eating these. These are not large size treats so a large dog will eat in one bite, but they like them. I recommend, dogs recommend and I will be buying again
