Darice 2610-42 6-Piece Heavy Duty Glass Balls Clear Glass, 70mm

So pretty bare minimum, I sell them on Etsy but I doll them up extra! The outsides arent spotless.. some had scuffs/marks but it’s whatever.. Personally I take rubbing alcohol on a microfiber and wipe them down, then spray paint them white. I needed these in a pinch and I was SUPER stoked that only 1 ornament has a sliver crack in it out of the 10 cases I ordered. (The last shipment I had from a dif retailer had 4 cases of broken ornaments) so these will get me by! But if you’re looking for super crystal clear perfect ornaments that your gonna LEAVE clear, don’t get these. They’d be fine for filling or coloring though, in my opinion!

Product arrived in perfect condition. Received 4 bulbs as advertised. We filled these with little mementos to remember our stillborn daughter this Christmas. I researched and compared the sizes of these ornaments quite a bit before buying and now that I see these in person, I wouldn't want anything smaller. I also considered buying the fillable plastic bulbs you can snap together-- however in the end I wanted them to look on the classier side and not look like a kids craft project (although I think I will try the plastic ones later as you can do some great things with them too-- check out Pinterest for ideas)Update: They have been on our tree for one week and one of them has now cracked all the way around. My husband was using a pencil to push an item in the bulb when he making his-- and we think it must have caused a crack that spread over a few days into looking really bad. I won't be able to store it with all the cracks so I will replace it before then. Just be careful when filling them-- they are thin glass. The other 3 are in fine shape.

I almost did not purchase these ornaments after reading multiple reviews, but I am glad that I did. First of all, the title description is incorrect in using the words "heavy duty" because no where on the packaging does it state that these ornaments are heavy duty glass, but they are definitely very sturdy and I can truly state that because I put them to the test! The glass is not the issue, but the metal cap is and no one mentioned that in their product review. The manufacturer used the cheapest, thinnest metal that could be found, so be careful when you handle them if you plan to remove them for a project. I carefully removed them and put two drops of super glue gel inside the caps to secure them to the ornament and that worked very well. The ornament boxes were each wrapped in bubble wrap and out of a total of nine boxes, no ornaments were broken! I do recommend these ornaments, even for a very detailed project like mine where the ornaments were handled a lot.

I want to be clear these are glass ornaments and will break if you drop them but in my opinion they are extremely sturdy for what they are! We use one a year and store them in the box they shipped in, no breaks yet! My wife and I love these. Every year after Christmas we order some brick oven pizza and a bunch of beers. We fill these with little strips of paper with memories of things that happened that year. The good bad and the ugly all go inside of the ornament. It’s a great day and something that the both of us look forward to every year. Overall, these were what I was looking for to complete a diy project. One of the ornaments had some black marks that I couldn’t get off but not a dealbreaker. The box they came in was pretty beat up. And not from the shipping to my door, but from over handling or maybe previous shipping. They were all in one piece though. So I did my thing and packaged them in a different box to give as a gift. I had no issues with removing or replacing the tops and was not worried about breaking them as I worked with them. They seemed very sturdy. I would buy again.

The media could not be loaded.  These clear glass ornaments are perfect for Mandala Christmas ornaments. I recently started painting these . Colored paint can be poured inside and swirled around to create a multitude of different ornaments. I've also used frosted paint on the outside to paint designs on. These simple glass, clear ornaments become things of beauty. I give them as gifts to friends.

I use these for molds to make antique resin grape decor. The bunches of glass grapes you saw in homes everywhere 50 years ago. I use a plastic resin with an accelerator and dry pigment powder for color. I take the metal clips off the christmas ornaments and pour in the resin leaving them in the container they came in for support. Let the resin set about 20 minutes them insert about a 6 inch length of floral wire for the stem, do not touch the bottom. Let it set for 6 hours then break the christmas ornaments off. Drill holes in 8 to 10 inch wooden grape vine or wooden branch. Attach grapes. Makes a beautiful arrangment. I have done them in purple and green arrangments.

I like the iridescent finish, but these are a lot smaller than I thought they would be. I assumed that they would be the standard size so it's my fault for not paying attention to the details.

Cute little glass balls that I purchased to put with my Canadian House Hippo to make it look like she is taking a bubble bath. They are very pretty and have a nice iridescent finish. I have packed them up a few times in baggies when changing out the decorations and they haven't cracked or broken yet.Everyone comments on how much they actually look like bubbles...very happy with purchase.

Ok so I'm aware these are glass and cheap and I was using them to make unicorn ornaments which means I was glueing thibg to them horn, ears, flowers ect. but they are not heavy duty they break really easily. That being said if you have no kids or pets and are not a clutz like me they do look nice just seriously I dropped one no more than an inch or maybe 2 from the ground and it broke. Dropped another one about a foot from the carpeted ground and it broke another one appeared to have a small crack in it not sure how that happend but it was still usable at least.

I bought these to fill them up with hot cocoa powder and small candy pieces as a previous reviewer claims they filled them up with pearls. Unfortunately, the ornaments I received had an opening way too small to fill them up with anything at all. Tney are useless to me so I am returning them.
