Pioneer Photo AlbumsLarge Page 4x6 Memo Pkt Photo Album, Black

I have been purchasing these albums for years. My local camera store used to carry them and they closed down so I now use Amazon to get them. This one on here is $25, but if you look online you could probably find it cheaper but with shipping. The album is very nice and worth the money, I'd say one of the best looking albums I've ever seen. It's extremely sturdy and the leather style looking cover is very impressive. The pages hold up well unlike some albums that have the flimsy photo pages that fall apart. I highly recommend.

Absolutely love these albums. Provide 6 spaces per page... Which means when opened you have 12 viewable photos. It's quite large and heavy (when filled with photos) but that's why it's so enjoyable to view. Big enough for everyone to gather around and look at together.Each photo has its own Memo space that is spacious enough to write dates/comments/etc without having to using tiny print (or wear your glasses when trying to read it... Lol). Also roomy enough to add crafty scrapbooking decals and decorations within each plastic sleeve (if that's what you're into... Lol). I adore the gold binding on the outside of the album....and I like the classic book look when the album is placed on a shelf. When you line them up, they make an attractive collection... And if you purchase different colors, you can color code the years. Unfortunately they are too large to stand up inside an average bookshelf. Even if you don't have the space they are still definitely worth finding a special spot for them in your home. This is the second album I've purchased and the first one is still in perfect condition... So it's well made. When I received this album it came in a plastic protective dust sleeve which was a nice touch! I searched everywhere in stores.... But nothing compared to the value, quality and size of this album. It's very difficult to find albums that match as well as look good on the shelf, but not break the bank. These albums are also the best economical option and provide bang for your buck.Would also make a great gift idea.... As they are not easily found in stores.

Excellent quality. Not disappointed.

This is now my 5th Pioneer album. I have been buying these for at least 10 years and they look and hold up great in my bookshelf and I have traveled with them as well. They are sturdy and will last for a long time as long as you treat them well. They come with sheets already that hold 300 photos. You can easily insert the photos vertical or horizontal. I have had other albums before and got rid of all of them and transferred my photos into these. The sheets on the others yellow or end up sticking badly to your photos but these have never done that in all the years. I will continue to buy this product as long as they make it.The thing I think is best is that they are expandable with being extra filler sheets. I have albums with at least 2000 photos in them and the album handles it like a champ. Of course my albums are heavy but they are awesome to look back through and reminisce.

Years ago I bought about a dozen photo albums at Crate and Barrel. I have been organizing photos as part of my Covid cleanup, and when I realized I needed more albums I was disappointed to discover that that company had gone out of business. I wanted to find albums the same color and size so that they look nearly organized on the shelves. I was excited to find these, especially because the price seems very reasonable. I like the layout of the photo sleeves and how many photos can fit on each page. The reviews describe the screws being difficult to undo and add pages to...but I am not attempting to do that. The quality of the plastic sleeve does not compare to the original albums that I purchased, but neither does the price. I am happy with this purchase.

I've been using the pioneer albums for my family photo albums, starting with the ones my mom bought ~decades ago. Since we already had a few, I kept with the brand / style to be consistent.What has not been consistent is the quality.The photo pages are 1cm longer (Annoying, but not a big problem). The glue on the bottom of the bottom row sleeves breaks VERY easily and the extra pages are not cheap. The screws slip through the book ends after a couple of uses (thankfully they include plastic washers). The most annoying thing, is that I use blue tape to line up the title letters on the cover and this one left tape residue after a day or two. NONE of the other albums did that even when the tape was left on for multiple days. All this makes me worry how well it'll hold up over the years. I'm really bummed because other than that, the album is great. The layout is convenient for large photo batches and I love that you can use different length screw in pegs to keep a snug binding.

I have about a dozen or so of these photo albums.. and absolutely love them. To pretty much they are the only ones I use. I just bought a couple of extra just to have on hand. 300 is plenty, but if you want (and I Have) have purchased extra inserts for a themed album I did and this photo album can take a good number of extra pages. Sturdy and they look good. Highly recommended.
