Crisp sound best outdoor speakers ever
I will join the ranks of all satisfied customers by giving this speaker 5 stars. The sound is crisp and authentic and mazing even when it goes and powers with a cheap Pyle 300w dual channel amplifier. This is a second set I bought and I highly recommend it

Sound is better than expected.
Thanks to the reviews I made the decision to purchase these speakers. I installed a pair around my pool area and the sound quality is a noticeable improvement. The low end can be heard distinctly from the high. The large area is filled with sound. The speakers appear to be built solid and look to be adequately sealed. Most likely I am not even realizing the potential as I am powering with an ancient Bose SA-3.The speakers are well worth the price because it includes lifetime warranty.

They're grrrreat!
These are great, and look good near my pool. I've got these in a flowerbed on the far side of my pool and a pair of polk atrium 6 speakers on the near side. The sound quality is very good, and having the extra speakers means I can have the volume set much lower while still being able to hear music in the pool. It prevents me from annoying my neighbors. When it's time for a party, they get plenty loud and still sound great.I run all four speakers in mono. I found that I enjoyed the music more this way.The two-channel input on a single speaker is a bit how-ya-doin, but it's easy enough to connect them in the more standard one channel configuration. These do include an internal crossover so it's not a problem. I guess it didn't cost klipsch more than a few cents to placate the foolish audiophiles who can magically discern the difference.

Quality isn't cheap. Nor is a lifetime warranty.
I've had a set of Boston Acoustic rock speakers for several years now. Not 100% sure how long they have lasted...10 years maybe in the Midwest weather, always outside. When one went out last week it was off to find its replacement. I was debating Bose, the wall mount, but I liked that my old ones sat in the landscaping unnoticed, so I pulled the tigger.First, the color is way better. My old ones were a "light granite" that stuck out a little more. These blend right in. They were about the same weight...Klipsch are a little taller. Wiring was the same as a two channel speaker (right and left in one), but I hook them up as one channel each (right and left). They are far enough apart that they still work in stereo and you don't lose that cool effect when songs take advantage of the stereo sound. (guitar riff maybe out of one speaker then vocals start out of the other).I took the blown one out, and placed the first one. I then used the balance control to go back and forth between the old and the new. The Klipsch was FAR AND AWAY better sound. To be fair, the Boston's had seen better days but they still sounded good...until they went up against the Klipsch. So, I have zero regret. They look great and sound great. Shipping was fast, excited to get them rocking on a pool day....if we ever see the sun again.

AWESOME
Finally have them (x2) hooked up around our patio and pool. Great addition to our two in-ground subwoofers and satellite speakers. Sound is crisp, as two of my fellow co-workers stated they would be. Plan on having movie & swim night. Think the neighbors will be envious! Pricey, but i think well worth it. Hope to get many years of use.

this is a great speaker. wiring it is the only issue
this is a great speaker.wiring it is the only issue.the speaker has a left and a right side meaning 4 wires. left (positive negative) right (positive negative) so if you have an amp that has 2 outputs typically you are set, this in 2 channel mode running in 8 ohmsif you loin the wires red & white (positive) green & black (negative) this now 1 channel and runs in 4 ohmsthe issue is which sounds better? also I have not put it outside because it is 20 degrees here in NJ so it might sound different when I add 30-50 feet of cable I will update this in the spring. Also I bought this because amazon had 20%off this speakerI currently use the TIC GS-10 & TIC GS3 & TIC GS4 and they sound real good but they are aprox $100 vs these that are 3 times that and they sound great but I do not know if they sound 3 timers better I will see in the spring
