Big Head
This is a great sounding and playing guitar. As you can see, the headstock is HUGE which lends itself to greater sustain due to increased mass. The voicing of both humbuckers has the range to play clean or "dirty" and everything in between. The neck is fast and smooth too. Overall, a great guitar.

Rating is for the Guitar Received, Not Fender Vintera telecaster
I purchased (what I thought was) a new Fender Vintera 70's Telecaster Deluxe from Amazon for 950.00 when everyone else was selling them for 1129.99. The listing said "New" with nothing else stated to indicate anything but a New, Perfect Guitar with a full Fender Warranty. When received, the entire guitar was absolutely immaculate, except for the neck Humbucker Pickup. The pickup had a scratch, two dents, and the adjustment screws looked like they had been cranked on to the point where the screw heads were nearly stripped out (see pictures). The upper dent looked like someone had stabbed the pickup chrome shield with a screwdriver, which made a dent and then slid across the chrome. The pickup was also electrically dead, total silence when I switched to it. The cardboard box the guitar came in had previous Amazon shipping labels to a private address that was marked over with a magic marker.I sent Fender an email asking for warranty repair work and they replied: "We do not sell through Amazon, but Amazon themselves are a dealer and other dealers sell through Amazon. Please contact Amazon, or the seller on Amazon to initiate a return or an exchange. "I was very disappointed Fender would not replace the pickup under a warranty repair, in which case I would have absolutely kept the guitar. My only option was to return the guitar, which is an awesome guitar. Amazon did refund every penny of my money, but I wish they had stated the guitar was a return.

It’s a work horse guitar that looks killer! 🤘🏻
Just receive mine yesterday, what a great guitar, really nice aesthetically, amazing balance between the pickups, the neck is really comfortable, and as a bonus it came in tune and the strings are brand new! I also order some locking tuners, but to be honest I think I’m not going to need them, the guitar stays in tune really well... It’s a work horse guitar that looks killer! 🤘🏻

Interference
The guitar itself is fantastic, but I did have issues with interference between one of the tone knobs and the input jack, which caused it to cut in and out. I had to go in and put electrical tape between the two to separate them and reduce the interference. For this reason, I submit 3 stars. Everything else came as expected, but given I could have purchased this guitar anywhere, it is poor service to sell a guitar that has issues fresh out of the box. As a customer, I will never mind an opened box guitar if it means the dealer has chosen to inspect for issues prior to purchase.

Butler's was excellent!
Every other music outlet was out of stock (Musicians Friend, Guitar Center, and others), and Butler's ended up having the guitar. They responded promptly and exceeded my expectations.

Sounds great; was unplayable out of the box
Got this for $200 off and i guess i understand why now. This thing needed a setup and a new nut right out of the box. This isn't finicky stuff either; the high e wouldn't stay in its slot and the intonation on the g string was off.Its fixed now, though, and its more or less the fine tele deluxe I'd been looking for.
