Takes a while to work
I was going to write a scathing review as I’d had this a few days and despite following the instructions to the letter it was having zero affect. It all started because our 4 year old daughter had left a banana (unknown to us) in her bag. When I opened it I disappeared under a swarm of fruit flies (not exaggerating!). These creatures are persistent things and turned our house into a hotel paradise for fruit flies. The final straw came when they decided to occupy our pet rat’s cage. I scoured the internet for a solution and kept coming back to this. It’s not cheap either. It takes about three days to do it’s thing (wish I’d known that was about to sling it in the bin and come on here to moan about it), but.... the fruit flies are now gone and there were loads! So patience is key (difficult when you just want them gone) it will work eventually.

Works Like a Treat
I got this when I was having issues with flies hovering around my plants in big numbers. This was easy to set up, although it took a couple of days to really start catching the flies. But they soon started flocking, and a ton were caught. The first cover remained sticky for quite some time. I only removed it because it became so full. Because of the decorative sheath, this is a lot less distracting than fly paper. The solution has quite a vinegary scent, but you have to get pretty close to it to detect the smell. Overall, a very effective product.

EASY TO USE
THEY DO THEIR WORK BUT IS NOT SUFFICIENT AS THE TRAP LOSE THE POWER AFTE 10 DAYS AND FLIES JUST STAY THERE AND PLAY. WILL BE GOOD IF HAD MORE TRAPS FOR THIS. OVERALL IS GOOD BUT A BIT PRICED TO MUCH

Flyaway success.
EDIT July 1st 2023 WHY are they not available any more? please re-stock them asap! They are brilliant.I love these. Bought some last year and have done so again this summer. The photo you can see (the trap is on the kitchen windowsill, inside) are fruit flies, all caught within just 48 hours of setting the 'traps'! They are non toxic so can be used in the kitchen. It's basically a small 'tent' of card with a sticky surface on the inside. You place the small bottle of supplied 'attractant' (it smells like balsamic vinegar) inside and then just wait for those pesky flies to get curious. You get two sticky 'tents' per pack bottle of attractant.Fruit flies are notoriously fast breeders, however, so you might want to consider setting more than one trap. I can't recommend them enough.Of course, you can help reduce the numbers of fruit flies by making sure you don't have anything exposed which attracts them. Keep all fruit covered, and if you have one of those kitchen waste caddies, empty it often, the smell of things going off will attract them...like flies!

Didn’t work
It’s easy to use but only one tiny fly caught. The rest ignored it. I moved it around different locations but no luck.
