I had a great time dissection this owl pellet! I found three skull and a lot of other bones. One thing to note though, this kit does not come with gloves. It does come with all the other tools though :)

We used this for a class of 8, K-2nd graders. They loved going through this and were able to share the one package I bought. This was probably one of the most exciting lessons we have had this year and they were excited to find the different bones and try to label them.

I misunderstood when i ordered and thought the large bag would have several smaller owl pellets (no idea why), within my pellet i found 2 skeletons, as well as a single tiny spider skeleton that seemed almost bleached, it is a very cool kit for what it is, and i would say well worth the money.

This was such a fun experiment for my homeschooler. Would recommend and would buy again.

The media could not be loaded.  I included pictures and video of what I was able to collect from two (2) jumbo packs! I am going now whiten them with a watered down hydrogen peroxide bath and use them for jewelry and other art projects. :-) Very happy with my purchase. If you are looking for more perfectly intact specimens consider looking into taxidermy/"vulture culture"

My son really enjoyed this product, which warns it can be messy which was expected. It came well packaged and with tons of info. We were able to make a whole science project and display board from this kit, very well worth the order!

Used these as part of my homeschool science class. It was really fun and interesting. Comes with a great chart for identifying the bones.
