Works well and started almost instantly after priming the bulb. Install was easy as two bolts. New hoses and filter and plug. All of good working quality.

I needed a new bulb for my old Ryobi, which was crack and ran crappy. Bulb kits were like $10 and this was a complete carb kit with new plugs and extra bulbs for $18 so I thought "why not". Came fast and the bulb fit, but the old weed eater still ran poor. so I though "why wait" and I threw on the new carb. The gasket isn't cut right so there is an extra hole you have to make (I just used a drill bit) and then cut it with a scissors, but the cab then fit. The gas and prime inlets were a little different place (but the same place as my new Ryobi weed eater, which I bought cause I wasn't sure the old one could be fixed). I had to trim the two gas and return hoses a bit. but now it runs super great. We'll see how long it lasts but so far so good.

If your trimmer isn't starting up, buy this if it is compatible to try first. Need a hex allen head screwdriver and broad flathead screwdriver. It comes with a new sparkplug so no need to buy that separately. My Ryobi wasn't starting up (no turnover), so I got this and went on YouTube and found a couple of videos on seeing how it's done. Within the hour it started right up and saved a lot of money by avoiding getting it serviced or buying a new one.

I was going to fix my weedeater, but then I got electric mower and weedeater and now I haven’t needed to need the gas weedeater. Never thought I would like battery powered lawn equipment. But is come along way with the battery technology and they are pretty good unless you have a giant yard. So the carburetor still sitting unused, which I still probably gonna do it and put it in just so I have the gas power coleslaw, but otherwise really don’t need it. But if you need it go ahead.
