BCW 2x2 Double Pocket Vinyl Coin Flips

Not the best quality
In comparison to the 2" Saflips, these both cost less and are noticeably flimsier. If you're looking simply for something to hold your coins that doesn't have to be sturdy, these will work well for you. However, if you want something that's sturdy, these won't work for you. Also, the BCW logo is stamped into the far corners of one end of the flip. Thankfully it's only on the one side, so it'll still hold most coins on that side perfectly fine. However, you can only put the paper on the one side due to that feature. As for the paper, it's already down to size, you just need to punch it out. One side will allow you to write on it perfectly fine, the other is kinda glossy and will mostly have any writing on it smear as soon as you touch it or try to put it into the flip. Not a problem if you're only going to write on the one side. (I haven't tried to write on it at all so far.)

Coin flips
Part of the reason for "encapsulating" coins is to preserve their beauty and value. That's the underlying reason for my purchase of this item. The pocket on these flips is "open", easy to insert coins into and remove coins from, however, since purchasing this I've received coins from other collectors in a different kind of flip. I don't know what brand the other flip is, but it has a different kind of configuration. Instead of being an open U style, its a solid rectangle with a slit just down from the top. It's a little more difficult to insert coins into and remove coins from, but it seems like it does a better job creating an airtight seal. I don't generally remove coins from flips so ease of in/out is less important, but I do want a good airtight seal to avoid tarnishing the coin over time. While I can't find anything wrong with these flips, since my purchase I have come across something I think is better, so I'm only giving this 3 stars.

They Out their Logo On the Front
I just wanted some plain plastic slips for my coin. Instead they pressed their logo into the front on the plastic. I cant recommend these for that one reason as when I get coins graded I have to have clear plastic so they can identify them. A better solution would be to remove the brand logo on the plastic and make them larger. I also have some larger 18th century solver 8 reales from Spain that dont fit in these.

It's not 100 coin flips, it's 50 2 sided flips with 100 inserts
Just so others are not misled like I was there are 100 white inserts but only 50 2 sided flips. 100 pockets, yes, but the only way you get 100 flips is cut the 50 in half and then you don't really have a flip you have a sleeve. Very misleading product description. I won't be buying this product again, there are other less deceptive products available.

Blurs details.
While these flips may be fine for storage, they are absolutely useless for viewing the fine details of any coin. The description of "Double polished clear finish" is very misleading.

Flip Flops
They are useful and the order came timely. You’ll need to watch for the small differences that account for the good price.. For instance these needed to be torn apart and separated (they arrive in sheets of multiple flips). They also were not as heavy as the more costly ones and were not non-pvc as requested by grading companies.I use them anyway as plain holders for my coins but not for submission.

Not Good Quality
These are not good quality flips. They are very thin compared to others I have.

I appreciate this product
I had discovered a cache of coins form my grandfather and decided that I would get them evaluated. I purchased these and put them in use as soon as they arrived. Makes it easy to organize the coins and show them to collectors.
