Reasonable price for anti chlorine hair products. Light scent. I go to the pool about twice a week and my hair doesn't have a green cast. So it does the job.

I'm giving 5 stars for the shampoo and 1 star for the conditioner so I'm averaging it out to 3 stars.I haven't been an avid swimmer since I was a kid. Growing up with light colored hair, I knew all too well what the pool water does to my hair. I remember using a swimmer shampoo back when I was a kid but as I grew older and throughout most of my adulthood, I didn't really get into a pool and swim around. I mostly just sunned myself and read books. Getting in the water was rare and usually just long enough to cool off. I kind of forgot that my hair would turn green. That is, until my friend bought a house with a pool... and we live in Los Angeles where almost every day is a pool day and since my friend lives 3 minutes away from me now, well I've been spending a lot of time in her pool. And since it is a private pool we have all kind of turned into little kids again. Swimming, splashing, jumping. It's fun. But lo and behold, my hair started turning green again. And now I dye it red so with the greenish tint on parts of my hair I was starting to look like an ugly Christmas decoration. So I desperately searched for a non-damaging shampoo/conditioner combo that would bring my hair back to it's soft, silky blonde color (so I could then dye it red again without making things worse). I found this combo and ordered immediately.I used the shampoo as soon as it arrived and then read the conditioner bottle while I let the shampoo sit on my head for a second to really destroy the green. The conditioner is NOT special conditioner. It is just conditioner. It isn't even good conditioner. My VO5 stuff is better than this conditioner. I tried it the first time and after rinsing my hair felt stickier than before conditioning. That damaged hair stickiness. Not product buildup stickiness. Sooo in the trash the conditioner went.I still use the shampoo every couple days and use my regular conditioner and my hair is as good as new. Thankfully buying JUST the shampoo is an option and I will do that next time.

I’ve been a swimmer all my life. Never in competition, just for exercise and meditation. I became good enough that I could do laps for several hours. However, honestly as I became older, those long hours became just as old. So I found an amazing waterproof MP3 player called Diver, which allows me to load hours of music, video audio, e-books, etc. Point being that because of this, I’m back to swimming at least two hours a day. And of course that has caused my hair to look like the Scarecrow from “The Wizard of Oz”, what with the long exposure to the pool's chlorine. I was told by my hairdresser that I needed a special shampoo and conditioner that is especially formulated to get rid of Chlorine, and bring back the oils in your hair. I tried several brands, and they not only didn’t help, but since I needed something to use every day they actually made things worse. This product came recommended by the swim trainers at my club. Bottom line. It’s amazing. I use it every day after swimming, and just like the commercials say about shampoo’s, it really has saved my hair, and actually makes it look better than its ever looked before! Yes, really. Some nit-picking customers have complained that it’s too “thin”. I have no idea what their problem is. The shampoo and conditioner works itself beautifully into your hair. I actually like it a bit thinner, since it allows me more control. And you don’t need to use much of either to get the great results. There's now a lot “swimmers” shampoos and conditioners on the market. I’ll make it simple. Get Ultra Swim Dynamic Shampoo and Conditioner. End of story. Oh, and that Diver is amazing. You can get that on Amazon as well. And again, I’m just a paying customer, so this is all from the heart!
