I never considered this being a necessity until I purchased one. Both me and my husband love this beanie because it allows us to have a beanie with music without the discomfort of earbuds. The beanie does a stellar job of retaining heat while outside. We used it while snowboarding and it was fantastic. The sound quality was great and there did not seem to be any effect to the sound or volume of the music due to the fabric. I also had no problem, speaking through the microphone, there were no issues with feedback or background sounds.Quality:The hat is made with 30% Alpaca wool, 30% merino wool, 10% elastane, 30% acryl. The wireless beanie is thicker than other beanies that I have had, providing a warm and windproof cover. The thickness paired with the Bluetooth 5.0 I think it is a wonderful accessory for the cold weather.Controls:The beanie has a built-in control panel to the stereo speaker and microphone, that allows you to toggle through your playlist. The panel also allows you to answer and hang up calls without having to take out your phone.Pairing:I had no trouble pairing this to my phone and it is easy and fast to set up, the wireless range is up to 65 feet.Charging:The beanie takes about two hours to charge and gives you about 10 hours of playtime after charging. The beanie will stay in “stand-by” for about 700 hours. It is rechargeable using a micro-usb and simple to plug in and charge.Gift:I purchased this initially as a gift for my husband. The hat has a unique design that is not too attention drawing which allows for daily use and makes this beanie a versatile gift for both women and men.We spent our holidays at a ski resort and this became a coveted item in our home. We used it all day on the slopes and were able to tune out the world and focus on the runs! I would certainly suggest this as a personal buy but also as a gift!

I love podcasts, and out of courtesy I use headphones. I purchased this so I could listen while I nap or rest, or wintertime when working outside on our farm. The sound is great, the buttons work fine. The interior is a nice plush fabric. It comes with washing instructions, but I haven't tried it yet. Great value for the money. Highly recommend, and am thinking of gifting some of these this Christmas.

I love this hat. It is very soft inside and warm. I do have a small head and it fits tight. Perfect for me. For a man's head, I'm pretty sure it would fit too tight.

The price is amazing and keeps your head warm offer please music with a genius idea but most of all as it can get it for 10-12 $16 around there. The price is incredible. The volume you might have to put the volume up all the way on your phone inside settings for dangerous decibel levels to have the speakers played loud if you want it so. The one downside I would say is there’s no base it’s more trouble and mid and there’s no bass if they had some more bass come in to make it deeper it would really sound good but it’s not bad and for 10 bucks come on, beanies alone cost more than that and here you get a little radio. You can hook it up to your phone and listen to Amazon music. Great idea awesome price nothing that last year I bought two daughter has one.

I bought this to wear while blowing snow and quickly realized that this was no where near loud enough for that. My over-the-ear headphones work great, but don’t protect me head from the cold very well. These would have been the perfect solution. Walking sound level seems fine. My only other complaint might be that plugging in the charger cord is a bit of pain as you have to find the hole through the knit and it does not line up well with the plug. The controls are also not very well aligned. Pressing on the very edge of the pad where it should increase the sound level, just advances the track. All in all, not a bad stocking cap and maybe if you are just going for a walk, it would be fine, but if you expect great sound in a louder environment, you will be unhappy.

Soft lining. Headphones work to tame the beast and soften background noise in the office. I use at my desk with phone nearby so I don't have any comment about Bluetooth range

The battery lasted a 10-hour shift and only used half the battery.If you work in a Freezer or Cold Storage the controls can be discreetly covered up by a hoody and the only way you will get caught if you Snitch on yourself.My only reccomendation is a speaker upgrade, it's a great product for the the price.
