4 Film Favorites: Sci-Fi (Contact, Lost in Space, Red Planet, Sphere)

Fantastic combo pack IMO. You get all 4 movie discs which are all great in my opinion and quality of packaging is adequate. The movies stack on top of each other in the case which i wasn't sure about but seems to work.

These films are an excellent tribute of the human potential to do more!

Got to me in super fast time & everything comes up great, except stacking the disks like a deck of cards in one case. The disks are undamaged and all play very well, so I gotta assume this 4 in 1 storage system is just something I'm not used to. I noticed certain little things that were not in the releases I've watched before. I won't give 'em away...see you can catch them. I WILL say these bits are tiny, yet contributed to the respective plots. Viewing was great in all disks & I recommend this one you.

The dvds themselves are heavy and play very well. However, with the exception of Contact, the movies are just awful. "The Sphere" has big stars but they could not save it: The plot and premise are soooooooo boring. Five minutes of Lost in Space told me never to watch any more, ever. So if they are your cup of tea, buy it. If not, don't.

Contact is an original story, with a young Jodie Foster playing an atheist scientist and Matthew McConaughey as her believer lover. The story was original, well-acted and made you think after it was over.Jury's out on the other three but will update this review when I watch them.

If you love science fiction and the idea of interstellar travel this is a great bang for your buck. You literally can't beat getting these four movies for $10. I doubt I am the only person that still buys a DVD or bluray from time to time lol enjoy
