Echoes of Nature: Morning Songbirds

My Mom has always loved her birds. She had said recently that she heard the most beautiful songbirds while watering her flowers the other day. She felt she was being serenaded, I wanted to give her that feeling anytime of day. Sounds wonderful!

I read a review before I bought this disc that said it was "uneven in spots." I'm glad I didn't listen and got this anyway.First of all, if it WAS uneven, well, that's nature for you. I have heard nature disc compilation imitations with looping noises and it was anything but soothing and relaxing. I welcome the spontaneous nature of the outdoors. The only thing I can think of when this observation was made is that the tracks artfully blend together so well could be mistaken as a quieter spot. I am actually quite grateful for the fact that they make the tracks "melt" because my mind doesn't get taken from the relaxed state it has fallen into and brought to the attention of a track change. Even though there are different themed tracks, they fade out and then in so gently that you wouldn't know that they're changing.I give it an A+.I've never heard rain drops and birdsong with so much clarity in the comfort of my living room. You forget where you are.

My parents recently renovated (Dad did most of the work himself) their patio into something that looks straight out of the nicest resort in Sedona, Arizona. Complete with amazing stone work, a fountain, and firepots. We have spent many nights at their house just relaxing, which isn't something that comes to us naturally. I have many, many health problems and struggle with daily pain and it sure is nice to be able to go home to sit and visit out on the back and just be with my family.Dad loves nature sounds but being in Odessa, Fl you dont get much "nature" except for misquitos...so I got him this cd to play through the outdoor speakers and man did he go nuts. This was a gift for them to celebrate their anniversary and the completion of all of his hard work.I have intentions of getting him a few more cds from this series for Father's Day. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who needs to just zone out and be at peace.

I was looking for natural sounds to play on headphones to make the sounds of cubicle city at work go away. For me, the worst conversations at work aren't those that are too loud or even held at normal sound levels. Instead, the worst are the whispered conversations. I don't want to hear what my co-workers don't want me to hear. In an effort not to intrude on their privacy, I try not to listen. The harder I try not to listen, the more each whispered syllable seems to go into my head. Even if I don't hear well enough to pick up more than a word out of every ten or twenty, the whispering destroys my concentration. I needed something to drown out everything.This CD has nice sounds. If I wanted something to simulate nature, this one would be good. Unfortunately, the simulation includes simulation of quiet moments, and those moments would let the sounds of the cubicles back into my head. If that's not a problem for your needs, you'll like this CD.

When rush hour sucks or you are just stressing, play this in your car instead of music and feel your heart rate go down. It's fantastic.

I had hoped this would be a longer playing CD of blended bird melodies and nature. In total it's about 40 minutes long and this is labeled on the CD as 1993. Just not what I was expecting although each individual track is relaxing I just think this was very overpriced. I bought one somewhere else for $11 and it's a longer playing and the sounds flow without brakes in between

I like to hear birds singing. It represents the beauty of nature. I wanted a CD that would create this type of atmosphere that I could play while I am working around the house. This CD does exactly that. I played it yesterday and it is just what I was looking for. I am really pleased with choice. 5 stars.

Love, love it! Great gift too! It's like starting your day in that peaceful early morning time when the birds awake...before the hum of the day begins. I play it upon waking everyday & it creates a peaceful transition to the day & reduces stress. Sometimes I play it all day to simulate my windows open & birds singing in my yard. If you need a nature fix, this is a good one!! They have many others too. I can't wait to get a few more. This helped my wife a lot when she was recovering from several surgeries.

Want to chill out and relax? Maybe go to sleep listening to something beautiful?This nature CD is it.I bought 2 different ones on Amazon and they're both beautiful.

Cd einlegen und das schlechte Wetter kann draussen bleiben. Es beruhigt ausserordentlich. Und lenkt dabei nicht ab. Zum lesen, denken oder einfach nur geniessen.

I love this CD. The bird songs sound so real. They are good therapy.
