Sleepdown Double Duvet Set, Cotton, Grey

The colours are 40% less vivid than in the marketing pictures online and on packaging, which is actually ok, as I find them to be more subtle and it gives the bedding slightly rustic look. They're 100% brushed cotton (alternative synthetic and synthetic mix duvet sets aren't breathable and are always 'scratchy' and slightly hard - part of why they're marketed as 'easy care/non-iron'). With this set brushed cotton set, expect a softness akin to cotton clothing.Another benefit of pure cotton is that it doesn't release the pesky micro plastics every time you wash it and won't end up pilling!Package recommended washing before use at 40 degrees (which I did, as it had a vile smell to it) and they seem fine now. Initial washing at cold (my mistake) didn't remove a strange waxy residue from the factory or the smell, so I followed the instructions and it's fine now.At the current price of £20, it makes no sense to me to buy synthetic equivalents! I have a lodge style bedroom and these fit right in as cosy and 'jump into bed' comfortable... which is, after all, what you need in a bedroom, right?

Good fitting with the covers however the pillow case stitching is extremely poor, one of the pillow covers was completed open as the seam has missed the material all together . Although the bedding is now on, I’m not looking forward to seeing what would happen after washing ..

Really heavy good quality quilt and pillowcase set. Wish they sold extra cases for the sets I could have the four but ah well. The quilt is really well made and so soft on the other side with enough room to turn down the quilt exactly like the picture at the top. The poppers are also very strong so no duvet spillage! Really pleased with this purchase.

So pleased with this duvet set exactly as described. Prompt delivery received the following day. Impressed with the quality of the material it is thick just as cotton should be not flimsy like some you can by. I always wash new bedding straight away. It washed great as raining constantly placed flat over drying rack and hey presto I did not need to iron. Looks really good on the bed and oh so cosy will look to order another set.

We run an Airbnb some have several sets of bedding on circulation and high visitors numbers to our home and with family. Not quite the picture, feels a bit rough for me, but nice against the skin, washes well, looks nice, fabric feels robust, if I had thought longer about it on receipt I may have returned but actually it's growing on me

Soft, durable and well made brushed cotton double duvet set. Recommend a wash (inside out) and iron before first use and you should get a good life from this product. Looks are subjective but I like this and am very happy with my purchase. £19.99 well spent here.

Very nice patterns on both sides! Goes quite well with varied colour schemes but especially recommend if you have quite a light room! Makes a lovely contrast!

Our second purchase in as many months. A good size and very soft to the touch.
