I broke one of my plates of a setting for 8 people so needed a replacement

This is such a great product! I love ordering things from Amazon even if it is glass or something that might break easily since I know Amazon has my shipped products in good hands!

I have contacted the seller questioning if they check items prior to shipping and have not heard back as yet. I recently broke a small cereal bowl and wished to replace it deciding to order a three piece turquoise setting giving me an extra dinner plate and saucer. I received the shipment in a very prompt manner but upon opening the package I noticed the dinner plate appeared to have an excess amount of glaze sort of making the ring design disappear under a thick clear coating. Since the cereal bowl and saucer were of top quality and the dinner plate would just be an extra I opted not to return the items for replacement. Needless to say I was disappointed that all three items were not of first quality even though they arrived in original Fiesta ware packaging. I would like a response as to whether the items they carry are “seconds”.
