Excellent Kit
Had to replace my IPhone 7 Plus battery a few days ago, during reassembly when pushing the screen back down I was pushing down the last section of the screen by the home button and didn’t have the two metal tabs by the screen exactly lined up and when I attempted to push that last section of screen down I shattered my glass. Bought this kit for less than $30.00 shipping and all and it arrived in 3 days. I watched a repair video on YouTube prior to it arriving and using the provided tools and a heat gun I already owned I was able to take my sweet time and successfully do the replacement of the new screen within 2 hours and the result is an excellent screen that looks and performs just like the factory one did. The seller of the screen even sent a video by email to me to ensure I knew how to do the replacement so I thought that was a bonus that was nice. The kit had everything I needed but the heat gun and looked very professional. Overall great buy!

Good screen replacement
Its a good screen, only reason i put 4 stars is because it arrived with a bit of discoloration. Other than that it was easy to install, havent tested it yet because it just arrived but ill update.

Cheap - you might be better off putting tape on top of you broken screen
This phone screen is honestly horrendous. I’m actually considering reinstalling my broken screen instead of trying to put up with this pos. There are multiple white spots on the screen, not to mention it has a weird yellow tint, and it turns blue when you tilt the phone sideways. While I was installing it, I noticed lots of electrical tape, and other patchwork that holds this Chinese special together. This is my second screen, as the first one broke before I could even turn on my phone. There is however, a silver lining to this screen for you phone addicts out there; I have found that I use my phone much less since I installed this screen. It is too dull, and when you turn up the brightness, your eyes are bathed in a sickly, pale yellow light. As I have watched Netflix on this screen, I have noticed that sometimes, while my hands are off the phone, it randomly clicks the screen, and brings up the menu. This product receives a rating of 2/10, I would not spend more than $1.50 on this epitome of sweatshop technology. The only reason they didn’t receive a 0/10 is because their customer service is actually quite nice and helpful - thanks for the help with my broken screen Jennifer.

Screen works great!
Screen replacement came within a few days of ordering. Instructions were easy to find and follow online on Youtube. That being said all steps were followed but screen was not working afterwards. Contacted customer support for troubleshooting and they sent me some suggestions before having to order a replacement.Screen resulted in being defective, however, the replacement process was super easy and received another screen to use and it worked great.Overall went great, quick and professioanl customer support as well as fast delivery.

I had nothing to lose
My daughter uses our old iPhones like an iPod. So when she dropped her phone and the screen was cracked and wouldn’t work she was devastated. I found this item and before ordering it watched a few YouTube videos to see exactly what was involved. I figured at this point I had nothing to lose. The phone was broken and if I screwed it up more so be it.It took me about an hour all said and done to do it , but I took my time and watched the video step by step as I did the phone. It was so successful I ordered a second one and now my son has one too from my husbands old phone. If your screen is broken and you have nothing to lose except the price of the new screen I would definitely recommend.

BEWARE - Very Difficult Installation
The screen is great and performs as it should. Installation is VERY DIFFICULT and the instructions are terrible. Basically, you get NO instructions with the kit and are directed to a YouTube video that is supposed to provide instructions. The video is generic and does not explain any of the tools you received with the kit and uses completely different tools. The best thing in the kit was a small magnetic board to hold your screws and locations...was wonderful, but as I said you had to figure out that was what it was for on your own as the video did not show or explain it.The YouTube video is pretty good but goes very fast and lacks detail especially on removing the ribbon cables.I spent the first hour just trying to get the cover off. The video was not much help with no instructions on how to use the suction cup included or how hard it is to get the cover off. Lots more detail in this area is needed.Once open the screws are VERY small not much bigger than the head of a pin. Also, there are no instructions on which screwdriver to use as they are just color-coated. The screwdrivers are NOT magnetized making installation and removal very tricky. Even with the tweezers, it is easy to drop a screw or have it pop out of the tweezers, and finding it is almost impossible. The most care and additional instructions are needed in removing the two ribbon cables. While the video says to be very careful, it spends little time showing how to carefully remove the cables. The home button cable is actually cemented down and requires additional care in removing. I actually damaged mine so my home button is no longer active. It can be replaced BUT I will lose my touch ID feature.Reassembly is also not easy. Getting the screws in the right place and tightened is difficult especially where they go through the metal backing. Getting it all lined up started sometimes requires additional pressure which can (and did) result in the screw flying out. I never found two of them. The speaker has a magnet in it so you are constantly fighting to get screws in place without jumping out and sticking on the speaker. After about 4 hours I finally got it all back together and working (except for the home button).I am fairly technical and have worked on electronics in the past. So I unless you are very good with your hands and eyes and take LOTS of precautions, I do not recommend this.
