Elite controller, but much reduced cost.
Works well. I have wanted a good solid wired controller for a long time and this is it. Xbox snaps on immediately when switched on. Triggers and buttons seem to respond quicker in game. Feels good and solid with a heavier weight than standard controllers. I’ve kept the default settings, grips etc as they seem fine. I have not attached the paddles as I personally don’t get on with them. I’m too long in the tooth to learn a new configuration but younger gamers will probably find them useful and easy to learn.Word of warning, it is not compatible with the basic MS single ear headset so you will have to get a replacement with a 3.5mm jack. Works fine with my Turtle Beach wired full headphones. No reports of buzzing from party chat members.

Elite controller & this FUSION comparison
About the conroller: and comparison to elite series 2Big fan of this controller. Prefer the paddle placement than the elite controller. I have quite small hands, even for a female so my opinion might be a bit different to people with big hands. To someone trying out a paddlesd controller for the first time, this controller is great, it's comftable and cheap compared to most. The paddles if you knock them just move awkwardly so then you have to put it back into place, the elite just falls off and if you ain't paying attention could disappear, easier to put back on but easier to fall off.You don't have to worry about charging it as it's a wired controller with a whopping length lead. Easy to program the buttons to the paddles, doesn't have different button layouts like the elite, but is easy enough to program the paddles when changing gameTHIS controller specifically where i bought from:The A button chipped the first month of having it, not badly but isn't smooth when brushing across it to get to B, might be because I have nails which made it chip.

For the price I paid this controller was a serious bargain.
Short version: Overall I really like this controller. It's not quite up to the premium standard of the elite but it is a fantastic alternative.Long version:First of all, I got this on a deal for £36.50 which I've got to say is an ABSOLUTE STEAL. If you can pick it up around this price I wouldn't think twice about it, just go for it.In the box along with the controller and paddles you get a case, some extra joy stock rings, the usb cable and 2 extra joy sticks (tall domed and concave) to suit.I'll get the cons out of the way first:Out of the box it didn't work properly with the Xbox. The right trigger didn't work at all. To rectify this I had to go on the PowerA website to update the firmware and calibrate it then it worked fine. Personally I think this is ridiculous, there's no question in my mind that if you buy an Xbox controller it should work with the xbox straight away. Another problem is what if you don't have a pc, what are you supposed to do then? I've dropped a star off the review for this very reason. The build quality isn't all that amazing either, it's got good weight to it but it doesn't look or feel like a premium controller.Another con is that It's not wireless but I suppose that's why it's a sub £100 elite style controller (saying that the wire is long so you got plenty to play with, plus it eliminates input lag)There's no Xbox software for it, so you can't make any changes to deadzones etc. I'd love to see that in the future. One thing people have said is that you can't use the mic while using the headphone jack. From what I gather the latest firmware update should've fixed this. I use a mic through my astro amp so I can't comment on it but I thought I would mention it.Now for the pros:As mentioned above once I got the firmware upgrade and the controller calibrated it worked so well. I set up the paddles how I have them on the elite and fired up cod, it is a joy to use. I also played a bit of Division 2 on PC and once again I loved using it. In fact it will probably become my main pc controller.I have bought various controllers in my time including the razer wolverine, this is much better than that. Finally, as you can see in the picture Xbox kontrol freeks for perfectly so that's another plus.Considering build quality and it not working out of the box i'm not sure how I feel about the £79 price tag maybe 50 would be more realistic? But at the price I paid it's a ridiculous bargain. Of all the elite alternatives on the market (I've had pretty much all of them) my personal preference would be for this one.

Flawed and broken in just 6months.
I have looked after this controller well, keeping in it's lovely case when not playing but unfortunately it's a flawed product. I'll just break my review down into a list:Out of the box I got issues with the using a headset, but this was fixed with a firmware update.Occasionally you get a massive static screech in your ears that could really damage them if you don't get them off quick enough. Unplugging and plugging the power/usb cable fixes this most of the time. The D pad is hit and miss when pushing left as to whether it registers left or up, which in the game i play can be game over. Don't get this issue with the standard controllers. After just 6months of use the controller is useless due to sticking bumpers, but this is something internal as the actual button movement seems fine and they pop back fine.Very disappointed.

Best Controller I have ever purchased
I bought this controller back in 2020 when I had tried several official controllers which had problems and now had it for 4 years and I have never been happier with it. I have never had any issues and I love the design, the white and gold contract looks great. I love that it is heavier than an official Xbox controller and could never go back to a normal one. I hope to still have the one I purchased for a while longer but will definitely be purchasing another when I need to.

Love the way it feels, great customer service.
This review is 9 months after having this controller. Unfortunately the lifespans of the buttons are quite poor, where my A button feels dampaned and most importantly the spring toggle which is the main joystick also has issues where I find myself having to keep clicking down to spring. If only the buttons didn't wear out as fast this would be a perfect controller.Further update a year later:After having seen that there is 2 year warranty, I returned the controller and they sent me the new one ( pro fusion 2) completely free within a week so very happy with customer service and new controller.
