defective item
ordered fuel pump, had to wait a couple of weeks to get it installed, and then learned fuel pump did not produce the required PSI pressure for my fuel injection system, which is factory. Fuel pump therefore defective, so I decided to return it only to learn the return window closed five (5) days earlier. Junk. Would not recommend this product or manufacturer.

It pumps fuel, but won't tell me how much I have in the tank
I bought this fuel pump last year and did not install it right away. I waited a few months and finally installed it in my 2005 GMC Sierra. It solved my fuel pressure issue I was having, but the sending unit for my fuel gauge does not work. It says I'm on low fuel all the time. I was hoping I just needed to reseat the connectors, but that didn't fix it. I wish I would have installed it right away so I could have returned it. It's a good price if it would have fully worked.
