This really does work
I have been using this device for a month and I am so shocked at how well it removes hair.I had read a few reviews before beginning, and I decided to use it every 3 days on my bikini line and full legs. I have light skin with black hair. I find that the process does not take as long as some other reviews (my legs from the knees down take about 3 minutes each) and my bikini line is a few minutes. On my legs I use it on the most powerful setting but for my bikini I used it on the mid-level. I agree with other users that it feels like a rubber band snapping depending on the area, but on my legs I could barely feel it.After a month of use, all of my leg hair is gone. I would say about 75-85% of my bikini line is gone. I have had my armpits professionally lasered before, and the results from this device are honestly better than the professional laser I received. This is IPL, which I thought would be poor, but it is just as good or even better than diode machine. It does help that I also do it every 3 days; I believe that has significantly cut down the treatment length. This really has been amazing for me. I wish I had started it years ago. It is worth every penny, and has been so much more effective and cheaper than going to a professional studio. I would HIGHLY recommend it, especially if you can get it on sale. This little device is so fantastic to use right before the summer! I'm excited to not have to shave and get ingrown hairs anymore. It's truly a lifechanger for me.

Easy to use, does not cause much discomfort (for me), one+ month update below
I have read so many reviews and wanted to know a few key things-- so here it is on topics of: pain and can it do Brazilian. (I have only had it a week so cannot comment on efficacy yet, but by reading all the reviews, it seems like it works great for some people fast, great for some people slowly, and others, it just doesn't do great. Some ppl seem to give up if it does not work after 4 weeks, or if it shows reduction but not complete removal--go longer!!) [One month update below]So pain, for me: It does not hurt very much. I am using it on under arms which have little hair left post laser about 5 years ago. Also for every part of bikini/brazilian locations, it is mild discomfort, and fast. For me the sensation is like when you open a really hot oven and the air hits you, it is a hot hot air feeling in a small concentrated spot. There is a *slight* sting sensation where the follicles are, but it is hard to really tell what is going on. It lasts so briefly that it is not bad. I think that the more discomfort I get is from where the hair is longer, I think the long hair kind of burns up and gets hot and touches the skin.Sometimes where skin pigment is darker the sensor does not want to flash, but repositioning it will eventually figure it out. Skin pigment difference matter if you are interested in brazilian locations. Deeper skin tones down there may not flash. It is MUCH MUCH less painful than salon laser. I had a really hard time with salon laser pain on legs, underarms and just basic inner thigh type bikini line. This is worlds better. I do not have to steel myself for this, it is not stressful. My legs have very little hair left so going over them is pain free and fast. My skin is not that sensitive to this device, and if I go over a spot twice there is no after effect or burn. I try not to just in case it sensitizes over time. The most awkward part for me has been contorting to get the sensor flat on the skin, especially for bikini.I recommend getting a pari of dark sunglasses and wearing them while you use it. Gas station/supermarket wrap arounds with black lenses were what I bought. The light is super bright, and comes through closed eye lids. If you get migraines it may trigger one bc the light is super bright, and the rhythmic flashing may just bother you. If you have sensitive eyes to bright light, wear dark glasses. I wear them and turn away, or just put a hand over my eyes if it is not a lot of contortion to hold the device and press the button. One month update: I love this device. I use it more than once a week, I am impatient and have zero effects on my skin after using, no damage or burning. I do not rec doing this, just what I did. Progress with Brazilian areas has been going well. One month+ in and I now have experienced hairs falling out in parts of the brazilian area, leaving entirely hairless smooth areas behind. I have never had this level of hairlessness even with waxing years ago. Not all areas respond the same. Some still have clear regrowth with stubble typical of post shaving. I think i am a strong responder, and I was to laser as well. Underarms have no regrowth a month in, for the few hairs that were left post laser 5 years ago. Legs same. I randomly run it over thighs and have less hair, which was sparse post laser to begin with, plus I am older and have less hair than when young. I no longer feel as strong a need to wear sunglasses, and doing it in a bright room in day both helps me see all the hairs, and also lessens contrast so the light flash is less strong feeling. I feel zero apprehension doing this in brazilian area, minimal pain if there is a close shave. The razor that came with it is ridiculously good, and I ordered more blades. The main issue with Brazilian locations is contorting to angle the device to get all the spots. I get a little lazy and focus on easier spots. I highly recommend this to people with the right skin/hair contrast to work (see chart for hair/skin shades). I find it faster than laser, bc you don't need to wait many weeks between. It remains way less painful than laser, which was very painful for me. I feel like a salesperson for the device, it is so cool!!!

Shocked Skeptic
One month of 2x weekly use and the hair is disappearing slowly but surely! My bikini line & legs are so smooth. I have very thick hair and have previously used an IPL with no results after over a year of use. This thing is definitely worth the money if you want permanent hair removal at home. Consistency and patience is key. I was skeptical at first and I am really glad I’ve stuck it out. At this rate I will be bald where I have used this device in a few month’s time. The hair stops growing in patches with some areas being more stubborn than others. The hair that does grown back is thin and blond.

Actually Works!
I had purchased another brand of IPL several years ago, and while I think it helped, it took many, many passes over the same area to notice a slight difference.I was reading reviews on various websites that consistently recommended this brand and model and decided to try it.I am so happy I did! After only one use I noticed a significant difference. I've now used it twice and it is definitely reducing my dark hairs. Many people who use these devices do not use them properly, and thus have poor outcomes. If you let the hair grow, and then shave it and then use an IPL the laser will target the pigment and zap it. Because these are IPL devices AND devices sold to consumers (not professionals) they will take longer! That is just how it is.If that bothers you, go to a local salon or Milan or something and pay a ton of money for a laser hair package. If you have patience and are willing to follow directions- this is the device for you.I am dinging this one star because there is no flash counter (I'd like to know when this will no longer be usable) and because the skin sensor is too sensitive. Many times I have it flat on my skin and it will not flash because the sensor is iffy. I will apply tape over it and see if that helps.(I am a Fitz type 1 and this is only targeting black and dark brown hairs; red, blonde, and gray hairs WILL NOT be affected! You must do electrolysis if you want to remove hairs without pigment)
