Great product
This was exactly what I expected and great American made product. We were looking for a plastic shovel without the metal edge to remove snow from plastic deck boards without damaging them. This working great for that and is a fantastic shovel. Sturdy and well made. I will definitely be buying more products from this company in the future. This shovel already survived a 200+ inches winter in the snow belt.

The Scoop Shovel ReImagined
Scoop shovels are very useful tools but most have aluminum or steel for their blade which make for a sharp edge that can scrape some surfaces like the wood or composite on decks etc. Care has to be taken when clearing leaves of debris from these surfaces using them. This shovel is made of copolymer polypropylene for the blade, shaft and handle grip. I believe It's a mold formed uni-construction in one piece. It is extremely well made as has been my experience with Bully Tools brand tools in general. It's primary use is for handling food grade materials like grains etc. but it is amazingly useful for handling leaves for example. It can be applied like a regular scoop shovel for taking leaves from a pile and placing them into a yard waste material container like a paper waste bag or a collapsible gardening bag and it also works excellently like a long handled dust pan. I highly recommend it. Blowers are great for wrangling leaves into piles and brooms sweep them up as well, but eventually most people need to lift the leaves into a container or bag. Bending and picking them up with handheld plastic scoop tools works but it is physically a lot of up and down. This scoop shovel is much more efficient, easy on your back and won't damage surfaces.

Durable and works well
We use this to scoop out 1500-2000 lbs of grain weekly from the back of the truck into barrels. It gets left outside in the sun and weather and has held up for over a year now with no signs of deterioration. I would definitely recommend it.

Light, easy to use. Never worry about rust or broken handles again!
Bought this plastic scoop shovel to replace the steel flat shovel I had been using for years to clean up dead pine needles, pine cones and small sticks & twigs along my driveway. This plastic shovel is half again wider, meaning my work gets done that much faster now, plus the 1-piece fully-synthetic construction is much lighter ...and it will never rust. The grip handle on the end is a big help in controlling it during load transfer. After just one afternoon's use I knew I had made the right choice. This shovel should last forever - as long as I don't do anything stupid. Only gripe is that I wish the handle were about 4 - 6" longer so I didn't have to stoop quite as much. (The plastic handle would've had to have been much thicker at that length though, or it would bend like a pool noodle. I suppose if I could have contributed to its initial design, I would have had the shaft fluted full-length, to give it a bit more structural strength, as the shaft does sag some - even at only 42" - when weighted down.) It's not that big of a deal though since I really only use it a couple of times a year, for Spring & Fall clean-up. Besides, its overall smaller size makes it is easier to transport in a wagon or wheelbarrow and store out of the way when not in use. It is reasonably priced too, so my wallet is as happy as my back! :-) 5 STARS

Lightweight!
Great shovel! This got great reviews and I am glad I purchased it. Using for mulch spreading! Even my husband loves it! Holds a lot of mulch at a time and is strong and helps get the job done quickly! Shorter handle is not a problem.Love it! Why didn’t they think of this decades ago!

Durability & Size
We had a once in a lifetime 6-10 ft snow in 3 days. This shovel saved our lives and our roofs (shed & sunroom). The size is perfect. It doesn’t quit, never came even close to breaking.Tough as nails. Not too heavy (I’m a 5’3 woman, but my body building husband 6” loves it too. We bought 4 of them for each family member. Love it!(Ps…put some oil or grease on it so the snow doesn’t stick)
