Finish comes off Samsung voids warranties
Fridge finish peeled off. Samsung wont fix, they say its cosmetic damage. They voided the entire warranty They refuse to fix the icemaker that they know isn't working correctly. The black staineless is apparently a film and lots of people report the same problem and the same outcome, Samsung says its cosmetic and voids the rest of the warranty, please look it up on the internet "samsung black stainless steel finish problems

Ice Maker Freezes Over
The Ice Maker Freezes over. This is a common occurrence with Samsung French Door Ice Makers. A class action suit is pending. As near as I can tell, looking over the class action suit, it has been going on for years.If you don't use the ice maker, it works great. The ice maker has to be defrosted with a hair dryer once a month.

Dead after less than a year
Purchased this fridge in November 2019. We started having problems in July 2020, Samsung sent a tech and a repair was made. That repair lasted a month and our fridge was failing to hold a temperature lower than 50 degrees. Samsung sent another tech, did more troubleshooting, and the Samsung tech and phone support couldn't figure it out. They sent the issue and downloaded data to "engineering" with a promise to return in a week. They returned, replaced parts, and it still didn't resolve it. They sent it to "engineering" again. At this point, it has been over a month since I have been able to use the fridge. I called Samsung again, and they are refunding my money. The refund of my purchase price is approximately $1200 less than the current selling price of the same exact model today. Samsung has said oh well. Never again.

Ice maker sucks - I'll never get another Samsung fridge
I paid over $2K 6 years ago. The first time the ice maker froze out Samsung sent someone to replace it. The second time I had to get it repaired ($200). The third time I fixed it myself by chipping away all the ice. Now it works as long as I chip the ice away every weekend. What a waste of time and money!

Don’t buy any Samsung refrigerator
This thing is literally a piece of junk.We’ve had to purchase an extended warranty just to keep the thing running. It’s literally the most expensive appliance we have in the house and it’s been in need of repair almost a dozen times in a few short years. Just stay away from their refrigerators. Their TV are great however we’ve had nothing but trouble with our fridge. Even the repair guy lamented how many of theses he’s had to repair. It’s again exhibiting a problem so we a trim in waiting weeks for the parts and or buying another expensive product. Buyer beware. Stay away from Samsung.
